Patsy is a large chain of pizza in NYC. It is above average (in my opinion) but costs slightly more than the majority of pizza places. Definitely worth it, but nothing I would go out of my way for (for those touring NY)

For business lunch, great little place for pizza. Thoroughly enjoyed the margarita pizza, with fresh basil, awesome pasta sauce. A pie was plenty for 3. Good for family and friends too. The other food items come out looked well proportioned and very appetizing. Will come back!

Had two meals here while staying nearby. Very good thin crust pizza, loved the tomato sauce. On the second visit we had pasta and split an excellent beet salad. A a good sized serving, tasty tomato sauce. Had the same waitress both times. Good service. The manager came by to check that everything was to our satisfaction. I'd patronize this... More

Visited twice while in New York which is saying something as we'd usually go somewhere different each night. First visit was relaxed and great food; pizza, pasta, salads, no complaints. Second visit was the night before the marathon and everybody was out carbo-loading! but although now more noisy and busy, the service was excellent and was the food. There was... More

Great pasta dishes. The pizza is traditional. The wine is great, too. This is a must when visiting NYC

There is another Patsy's on the West side and these two are not related at all. Actually, they have been feuding for years as to who is the “real Patsy's”... As far as I am concerned, 2nd Avenue wins without any doubts! Today we had another great lunch there. The zucchini chips with yogurt dip were out of this world.... More

The service was spotty - attentive at times and seemingly absent at others. The salads were very well done, but the pizzas were not. The crust was too bland, too much cheese adorned the top, and the toppings failed to impress my taste buds. Odd that a pizza place would have better salads than pizza. A convenient location for a... Near the U.N., this unpretentious Italian restaurant may not catch your eye - but GO THERE. The food is outstanding, the service is attentive, friendly and prompt. And the food comes out blazing hot ... as it should but rarely does nowadays. Try the white pizza - mozzarella and ricotta - thin crust and spectacularly tasty. The eggplant parm -... More

We stumbled upon this place by chance after a long day of sightseeing and had a good meal. Good, nowhere near excellent, and the service was patchy. The hostess who seated us didn't have the slightest clue about the differences between two of the three pizza pies on the menu, so we had to wait to ask our server. That... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
