Expensive uncomfortable for price appears as a casual restaurant but bill was over $180 for salad ribs and a steak- no alcohol. Taking advantage of the kosher observant customer with inflated price and why no baked potato only fries n roasted n mashed????

Came in with 3 of my family for dinner on a Saturday. First thing I noticed was the music - tunes you would more likely hear in a nightclub, which didn't give the place a good atmosphere for a restaurant. We seemed to have a few different waiters (one took our order, one brought the wine and didn't offer anyone... More

We have gone often to Talia's the kosher steak restaurant on the Upper Westside though we have not been for 4-5 months. We went with friends --- three of the four of us were quite pleased with our steaks -- but my wife thought hers was tough and a bit too thin. The fries that accompanied the steaks were done... More

I treated a long–time business partner and very close friend for her birthday, which happened to fall on ROSH HASHANAH this year. The food was extremely delicious, fresh and kosher. I dine at many restaurants in New York City as I run a thriving organic product business; most of the time, the food ranges from average to above average. At... More

My girlfriend and I had a great dining experience at Talia's. We started with a perfectly made strawberry mojitos. We really enjoyed the shared tuna tartar and the Middle Eastern combo platter - Moroccan cigars, pastel & kebbah. These appetizers were very fresh and tasty. For the main dish I ordered the lamb chop and my girlfriend ordered a chicken... More

Was unimpressed with the quality of the food and service from the staff. I ordered the kebab skewers and requested no tomatoes or peppers. The waitress indicated that the skewers are pre made and the chefs won't exchange the peppers and tomatoes for onions. No wonder this place always advertises on Groupon

Sunday brunch. Place looks nice and we decide to come in. I order a sam adams beer, after almost 10' waitress comes and tells me we don't have it anymore. Ok np, i take another one. We order the food, a starter salad plate and a main course with request to serve all at same time. Starter arrives, main course... More

Food is excellent of course get the stakes that is the reason your going there. The Yemenite soup was just delicious. A little pricy for such a type of place but I guess that is what you pay for in the city. Friendly service. Would go back again.

It has been a few years since our last meal at this UWS kosher meaty restaurant. Our last meal was meh, but we were hungry and there was a long wait at ABC. we were seated quickly and was greeted by a cheery server. We started with a modestly priced bottle of wine which was served promptly. Our dinner order... More

I've been to Talia before but this time I took the family and patents for my daughter's graduation celebration. Everyone was exceptionally nice and helpful. The food was excellent which made for a fantastic celebration.

For over 13 years, Talia's Steakhouse has continuously reinvented the strictly Glatt kosher restaurant as a hip, modern place, where everyone will feel welcome: from Chabad and Satmer Chasidim to Modern Orthodox, secular Jews, non-Jewish customers and all other ethnic groups, Talia's has something for everyone. With so many repeat customers and fans, it's no wonder that Talia's Steakhouse has built such a "Haute" reputation. As one customer puts it: " You oughtta be the best, most progressive-still-frum place." Talia's appeal reaches far outside of its Upper West Side location with its two unique dinner and brunch menus offering a gourmet selection of prime rib, filet mignon, duck, whole branzino, homemade hummus, Belgian waffles, shakshouka, non-dairy tofu cheeseburger and more. Where else can you sip a cocktail at midnight while catching a cool breeze at Talia's Outdoor Cafe or enjoy a ball game on a large screen TV while eating a delicious, mouthwatering kosher steak. Talia's is a great spot to take your wife or girlfriend out to dinner. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere, dimly-lit, candles and fresh roses on each table, mellow live music and a wonderful blend of American and Middle-Eastern cuisines. She will be talking about her special evening for weeks to come. In addition, Saturday nights all year round, Talia's transforms into a romantic lounge where people from all over come to reconnect with old friends and meet new and exciting people.
