Looking for a place to rest and have a glass of wine; stumbled on this jewel. The owner manned the bar- we told him to surprise us with a rose' and cab - not disappointed. Truffle fries were good but found the shrimp crevette wonderful. Small place but full of charm.

Found this place by accident simply because we were staying at '60 Soho' just across the street and not being fans of hotel breakfasts we thought we'd give this place a try and we were so glad we did. The French toast was delightful, almost buried under a mound of fresh fruit. The drinks, alcoholic or otherwise, were very acceptable... More

This place is simply lovely. Located on Thomson Street opposite SIXTY Soho hotel this place feels like sitting in a hidden garden. With fresh floral decor every where, intimate cosy garden style seating. With a full bar, this French restaurant/ cafe/ wine bar serves the most delicious food that leaves you asking for more. Outstanding quality and authentic taste in... More

Found by accident strolling around looking for a nice place. My dinner was wonderful, the ambiance and soft jazz playing in the background made for a beautiful evening. Prices were very moderate for such a nice place. Beautiful fresh flowers everywhere. Didn't want to leave!

Loved the flowers. Loved the space but I did not love the wine selection. The wine was warm and the choices were poor. If you're a wine aficionado, don't go here. The waiter was super nice. The steak I ordered was delicious. So in the end I'm glad I chose this place to dine but the wine was an issue... More

Visited here during our stay in NY, found it by chance and we're fortunate enough to get a table. It's a small place but not cramped. Staff were friendly and hospitable, food was excellent as was the wine selection. Prices were very reasonable for NYC. Would definitely search this restaurant out again on our next visit

Can comfortably be placed in the cool rather than good value category. What capped it for me, was being told that the tip I'd added to the bill could have been bigger!

We stayed at the Sixty Soho and so we walked by this restaurant and went for dinner. First of all, we loved the entire atmosphere. Kind of dark and cosy with many flowers and plants at the entrance which makes you feel like sitting in a friend's garden. The service of the entire team was very nice and attentive. The... More

Tony, our waiter was the only person working the bar and floor this Sunday, but he copped very well. The service was attentive, helpful, fast and with a smile. This is another "local" New York Restaurant/Bar in the Soho area. Full of great locals who are eager to advise and assist. The food was better than expected. All around I... More

Stumbled upon this venue randomly, upon inspection of the menu they catered for the staple breakfast dishes with some flair. The Crab Benedict was fantastic coupled with a side of mushrooms. There wasn't anything particularly amazing about the mushrooms but they had cooked them in butter and lemon juice and it really worked. Friendly staff who banta'd with us and... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
