I don't think I ever had such a bad and shocking experience at a restaurant before. Everything was tasteless and plain terrible. It took them forever to bring me my prawns with walnuts, my friends where half way with theirs (they never finished) and when it finally got to me I realize that the prawns were covered in mayonnaise. Really?... More

We had lunch here and were beyond disappointed. Our waiter was combative when he got our order wrong. He chastised me for using my napkin to clean the tea I spilled on the table. Avoid this place!

The worst and most shocking experience. Despite not being able to speak Mandarin, I have very high understanding of It. On ordering crispy noodles, one of the waiters asked our waiter why we couldn't have ordered something else. Secondly they brought my rice out before the main so by the time my main came out, my rice was cold. Prawns... More

I have experienced Chinese cuisine in around 9 countries and I can say with absolute certainty that this is the worst I have ever had the misfortune to taste and it was supported by appalling service. We left most of the food. I refused to tip and frankly they were lucky to get a cent. We should have checked with... More

Ate here tonight very unfriendly service. When we went to pay they advised us that we should leave 15% tip but we declined.

We are from the uk and came to NY for a holiday. We went to this restaurant on our first night. We noticed a distinct air of resentment when entering the restaurant, and were the only non Chinese customers. The waiter hovered while we chose our food, asking us within 39 seconds what did we want, then a further 3... More

We shared 7 menu items. Some were really good while others were just ordinary. Nothing was bad, but with so many other Chinatown options, we'll keep exploring and try to find another restaurant next time. Just so you know, we had a personal recommendation for this restaurant. So a friend liked it. It has an extensive menu. Maybe we just... More

We were planning to dine somewhere in Chinatown and found this restaurant while walking around. We were a party of six and there were large round tables available with a spinning device on the table. We shared all the dishes we ordered. We started with a trio of dumplings that were the best I have had anywhere. They had just... More

We were excited to eat in Chinatown. While this restaurant was inviting and had a good menu selection, the food was only average. Either we have REALLY GOOD Chinese restaurants in the Midwest or this was average Americanized Chinese. Prices were good, service was fine so we have no complaints there. If you are looking for something familiar, this is... More

Four of us went for an early dinner....just found it walking along the street. Health inspection was a B, which was a lot better than all the C's we noted in other restaurant windows. Many Asians came in while we were there. As said earlier, staff not particularly warm and friendly and food came out haphazardly, but we got what... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
