Utterly charming restaurant with outstanding service. My only complaint: the tables are incredibly close together, and it's quite a squeeze to get in-and-out. Additional plus: you can admire the amazing steak window of Gallaghers Steakhouse a few doors down!

Victors is my favorite place to eat in New York. Food is outstanding and the atmosphere is great. It’s a Cuban cuisine that will knock your socks slam off. Waiters and staff are super friendly and were very attentive to their needs. I would recommend...More

We had fun but will not go back - the food was all right, not great, the chef avoids strong flavors and spices to a fault, and the menu has drifted from earthy, honest Cuban - we ate Victor’s food more than thirty years ago!...More

Our group of girlfriends went to Victor’s for a pre-show dinner. Despite it being quite quite busy, we were seated for our reservation right away (I wouldn’t have minded a drink at the lively bar). The service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was...More

What happened to the good food and excellent manners that this restaurant had in the past. Our Thanksgiving day was ruined by rude waiters and poor food.

I have never had the paella. The Ropa Vieja and sangria are fantastic! Victor's is amazing, though and you will love it. A little pricey....perhaps, but you are in NYC & I say it's worth every penny!

We've been to Victor's Cafe many times in the past twenty years. I've never seen quesadillas or anything similar on their menu. You do know this is a Cuban restaurant, right?

Since 1963, Victor’s Cafe, a family-run New York City landmark, continues to be a culinary voyage to Cuba offering an incomparable experience with its harmony of authentic cuisine, hospitality and stylish environment. Victor’s has the unique distinction of being both luxurious and casual, serene and high energy, family oriented and romantic, exotic yet familiar. The cuisine at Victor’s includes the most delicious, authentic dishes combined with the restaurant’s exclusive creations that represent the evolution of Cuban cuisine. Signature dishes include Victor’s famous black bean soup, shredded beef (“Ropa Vieja”), and roast suckling pig (“Lechon”). The restaurant itself is divided into three spacious dining rooms, accented with warm lighting, colorful Cuban art, tropical ceiling fans, and lofty sky-lit ceilings. The restaurant's Cuba Lounge is intimate and warm, featuring a tapas menu and a variety of traditional Cuban cocktails such as Mojitos and Sangria.
