I love this place. It's definitely a bit on the expensive side but it is well worth a visit. They usually have some exotic raw offering. I usually stick to things I recognize. Service is friendly and professional. Place is always clean. I will be...More

Located at 60 Les Hotel on 2nd floor. Classy setting. Very nice indeed. Open kitchen with 4 white outfitted Japanese chefs preparing everything in front of you. Food to die for. We ate light with melt in your mouth beef more-ish meat skewers. Soup was...More

Hard to find because the front of the restaurant is not well marked, but once there the food was excellent. I recommend the popcorn shrimp tempera, any of the sushi, and the iced green tea.

Great dining experience at the Blue Ribbon. Had a short wait in the waiting room and was seated at the bar. The place is quite cramped but gives out the right vibes. Staff were helpful in choosing the dishes, prices aren't cheap yet quality is...More

On the past three trips to NYC I've always come back to Blue Ribbon. The sushi is so fresh and the restaurant itself is styled on traditional sushi restaurants in Japan. Highly recommend this place for any sushi and sashimi lover.

In one word "Scrumptious". Highly recommend this restaurant for Sushi, sashimi and well prepared, tasty assorted food. I chose Hamachi Tataki to start and Branzino as my main course. Both dishes were excellent. Always leave room for ice cream at the end of the meal....More

It's not the first time here and it is always a surprise how much I enjoy it. We started with a tempura of soft shell crab - that was exceptional. Then we had the sushi sashimi combination and a dragon roll. All was very good....More

The sushi was of a very good quality, the fish were fresh and the restaurant has quite a cozy Japanese vibe. I can't complain about anything, however they failed to amaze me hence the 4 stars.

I am not enough Japanese cuisine connoisseur to distinguish between the best sushi restaurant. I really only know some bad sushi and good sushi. This one is a good one; arrived on Saturday night with no reservation, they told us the wait was 1 hr....More

Hello, It doesn't appear that the restaurant offers gift cards. A possible solution would be to purchase a Visa/MasterCard or American Express gift card which are all accepted at the Blue Ribbon Sushi. I hope this response... More

Blue Ribbon Sushi is the original collaboration between Bruce & Eric Bromberg and sushi master, Toshi Ueki. The cozy cedar clad restaurant has an extensive selection of fresh fish flown in daily from the Sea of Japan as well as both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. We feature many combinations of fresh ingredients and delicacies and an award-winning sake list. Whether you sit at the walnut Sushi Bar or at one of the cozy tables in the back room, Blue Ribbon Sushi will transport you to the other side of the world.
