Love it when I just walk around and “find” a place I end up having a wonderful experience in. Famous places that become iconic can do that by the way they keep working at Service and quality. My server was very friendly and attentive. Food...More

Don't mind some negative reviews, the place is a true gem, one of the remaining relics of the truly authentic Little Italy. Even some famous area eateries, such as Umberto's Clam House, both the original, which is Da Gennaro now, and its latest reincarnation, were...More

This establishment has been in business for decades in the Little Italy section of Manhattan. You come for the pastries and coffee and never leave disappointed. The 'lobster tail' pastry was outstanding. Shaped like a lobster tail but made of puff pastry that is filled...More

I can’t believe this place has been in business so long. $8.95 for bad carrot cake. I’ve had better carrot cake from a grocery store. Any coffee shop has better espresso. Don’t bother.

This landmark in Little Italy is well worth a visit. Brunch (served until 3:00) was outstanding and at $10 a real bargain and the made-on-premises gelato and other sweets are extraordinary.

While a number of the pastries are fresh and good tasting, many are mediocre (Lemon tart) and ALL are over priced. The blonde hostess is surly and never seems happy. Better, less touristy and less expensive pastry shops can be found in the Bronx.

My wife was looking for a mid-afternoon snack and we stopped in here. What she came out with was a pastry the likes of which I've never seen before. It is called a "lobster tail." It is hard to describe but I'll give it a...More

Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest
neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors
from around the globe, especially on summer weekends
when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up
Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a
dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables,
cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised
when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in
