Beautiful environment, a bit noisy if full. Very good food and well presented. The pero is that when we ordered the tacos he warned us that they were 2 pieces but if we wanted we could have them from 3 or even more, very well but we should specify the price of the tacos more both on paper and by voice for fairness however I recommend medium high price

Came here for a Saturday brunch and sat at the bar on the left as you first walked in. The servers behind the bar were the BEST! Ordered a smoothie and other drinks, hummus with pita (as a starter) and a couple different mains. (For example, the cheese dosa.) As others in my party predicted, the hummus was the standout. (Order it!) followed by the smoothie which was subtle and tasty. The dosa was good, not great. (More like a quesadilla) The bill was reasonable given these post-COVID prices, and we had a wonderful time hanging out for a couple hours as the restaurant stopped serving lunch/brunch. Probably the best food I had during my three day stay in NYC. If I come back anytime soon, I will try to make it to ABC!

We shared several dishes and loved them all - Green Chickpea Hummus, Char Grilled Oakwood Shiitake and two orders of Herbal Basmati Pilaf. The restaurant has a definite California vibe to it and we really enjoyed the staff too. Also of note, prior to going to the restaurant we went to their home store a few blocks away and loved what we saw there too. Conveniently located in the Union Square neighborhood the restaurant and home store are both easily reached by mass transit meaning we’ll likely visit again!

We went for dinner here and found very good, unusual and carefully crafted vegetarian options as well as non alcoholic drinks. They said we should order four plates as the sizes were small but a shared appetizer and two mains were enough. Service was good but there was something going on in the kitchen so they gave us extra bread to cover up for the delays which was good because we were not in a hurry. The waiter seemed a little rookie but she tried and smiled a lot. Ambince was great

Delicious food, good service, but pricey. We ordered the restaurant week 3 course menu, the salad was meager, main course was battered fish & chips, was very tasty, bottle of rose wine for 72 dollars was the second cheapest on the menu, was nice and dry with strawberry in the mouth. Dessert was very rich, too much for me alone. I understand that people here also share dishes, but there were not enough starters and main courses for that.

Disappointing. While some of the dishes - such as the green chickpea hummus, the crunchy cornmeal chicken of the woods, and the desserts, like the apple tarte tatin, were fabulous, some of the others like the beluga lentils were tasteless. In addition, the portions of the hummus and the three desserts that we had were tiny. The place was NOISY, and the service was very rushed. Our group of six spent close to $600 with tip for six entrees, six appetizers, three desserts, and three beers. Way overpriced. We were out fast. This is not a place to linger. The check will land on your table before you ask for it. Won't return.

Huge disappointment. The salmon was a nice piece of fish but no flavor, no imagination. On the menu it says panko crusted and it was not. Just cooked without any flavor, soul or love. The salmon sat on a bed of kale and spaetzle which was somewhat tasty, but cold. Every bite was just cold. It's odd to think this was intentional. The tuna tartare was boring: some cut up tuna and sliced avocado with a bit of ginger sauce. I've had so much better tuna tartare for less money in less pretentious places. The carrot cake finish was dry and had that texture of having sat around. My diner serves a better carrot cake. The staff was great, especially the managers. very nice and accommodating. I looked at what the table next to me was having and it didn't look better than diner food. The burger with a plastic looking bun, a tiny simple pizza that could be anywhere. It's a shame the food is so disappointing because it's a nice looking place with good staff and a great location.

What a unique space and location part of the ABC store the ABC Kitchen is just as good visibly as your tast buds explode with all the flavors. We came in on a recommendation. Tables set to perfection, meals just as lovely. we went with the Cardamom Duthch Pankakes, and my wife went with the backed eggs. One was so savory and one just right with syrup sweetness. The presentation was wonderful! No dessert as we were stuffed! Next door, all part of the same organization was a vegan, and one was Mexican and all accessible thru the center to the ABC Home Store. Carly, the manager, stopped by for a quick hello, which I thanked here for stopping by.

I went here for brunch because I've been to some of the other restaurants and I've had great experiences. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. Food: The food was a decent size but tasted pretty average for the prices we were paying. Service: Atrocious. No one came and checked on us and if we tried to flag someone down they acted as if we were causing them inconvenience. Price: Everything was over priced especially considering what we were getting for it. I paid $50 for tea and a pizza. Ambiance: The one positive thing about the restaurant is it's ambiance. It's really cool decor and I love all the different designs. Clearly a lot of though was putting into decorating this restaurant.

Food was very good, but the service was pretty bad. Before our drinks arrived, the food arrived. It was within minutes of ordering. The cauliflower was terrific, but slightly warmer than room temperature. It obviously had been sitting under a heating lamp. Twenty minutes later our second entre arrived. In between there was a bread plate with a chickpea side. The waitress hardly ever looked at our table. Waiters were removing food when it was obvious that we were not finished. If they took away the cauliflower, we would have had a long wait until our next course. After the second course the woman bussing asked if we were "still picking at it?" The restaurant is very noisy. The quality of the food, however, is high. All of our dishes, including the pasta Bolognese were very good.

We went there with a party of five and the experience was just not good, though quit expensive. The starters were ok although the taste was already a bit too salted (especially the bread that came with the burrata). It went wrong with the main courses. The Fried Chicken was so hot that I could not taste any wine anymore. When I wanted to send it back the waiter almost yelled at me 'the menu says hot butter'. It did not say burning butter though. She changed the main course into the burger. This was ok but the fries were over salted. My sun made the mistake to continue with the chicken and was just sweating the rest of the night. Just uneatable. My wife's spinach pizza was so salty that she left it all. The waiter did not ask if we liked it, or if we were satisfied (although she must have seen that half of the food was left). . Her service was unfriendly anyway. We decided to leave and I left a reduced tip. The waiter came behind me to complain about it... I should not have left any tip. Never again. Please avoid this place. 700 dollars waited for a bad meal.

Ambience was nice, the staff were super helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be that the food was average at best for the prices they have. We went for my birthday lunch and spent over $200 and at the end of the meal, none of us really enjoyed the food, even having to send something back. The fish tacos were nice but not much flavor and very mushy and vinegary, the squid was very chewy and dry. The octopus was a bit chewy but nonetheless tasted very good & the kiwi cocktail was excellent. I recommend ending your meal with the churros because they were nice. But 3/5 because although service was good and the setting was nice, the food was just not great.

Outstanding food, drinks & service. Expensive too, but worth it. A bit noisy perhaps for some, but I wish that all vegetarian restaurants would aspire such a level of quality. The menu is to be shared by the entire fable, which is a great way to try many dishes. I wasn’t impressed by the bolognese, but the seared soft johnny tofu was spectacular. I am not a tofu-fam, so bravo!

First of all, the kitchen is not exceptional. It is good but rather expensive for dishes without much originality. Wines are totally unaffordable, as is often the case in New York. But here we reach heights: nearly $70 for a tied Burgundy, it is for me never seen, American wines being even more expensive. Finally, the room is very noisy with tables close to each other and music that helps to increase the sound level. In conclusion, there is better in New York than this trendy and overrated restaurant.

Went to abcv looking for spectacular and interesting vegetarian food. They delivered tasty dishes that were very imaginative and super fresh. Fantastic service from all of the staff showed a lot of knowledge and patience. Recommend the truffle Doha very lovely. And the pear colada cocktail superb. Hope to come back again very soon.

Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
