The old shop had lots of charm and was always a throw back in time. New shop in same place is new, very clean and. An expanded men u. I preferred the old place for the ambiance, the new facility is more like a deli...More

The place offer a wide choice of bagel and bialy. They make there own bagel on site. Difficult to be understood by one of the waitress, who could easily be qualified of being rude with customers

Waited in line for a bit, but this allowed us to finalize our orders - there is a decent selection of bagels/bialys and toppings to choose from - the whitefish was very delicious. The service was efficient and friendly. The bagels were great, and the...More

Visited based on other reviews and this shop's ranking on best bagel lists but found the bagels a bit lackluster. Service was friendly. Be aware that's there's virtually no seating so don't plan on being able to eat in.

We went to Kossar's a couple of times- they do a variety of kosher food- breads, bagels, sandwiches etc. You can also get bread and buns to toast yourself, if you wish. The shop is open from early while late and has a small seating...More

Thanks to the food network, we tracked down a bakery who made Bialys, which is a chewy yeasty roll similar to a bagel. We ended up going to Kossar's recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel - supposedly there is an art to...More

We went on a walking tour and we stopped here. Great value and very tasty. Friendly staff, we had cream cheese and salmon. Yum!
