We dined with friends at this elegant, high-end Midtown Italian. All of ordered pasta. Mine was a special--cavitelli with rabbit ragu and andouille sausage that was rich and homey at the same time. My wife had a pear/cheese ravioli that she said was "out of...More

Went here for the summer NYC Restaurant Week lunch. The veggies in the chilled summer soup tasted like they had been plucked from the vine only minutes before. The cannolloni bean spread was scrumptious on bread. Fish fillet was tender, moist and light - perfect...More

After viewing Lidia Bastianich's show on PBS a number of times, we decided to visit this, her most prominent New York restaurant. A modest facade hides an elegant interior and the exquisite service that greets you. Tables are distributed on two floors; nice, clean tablecloths,...More

Lovely place highly recommended by our traveling companion friends. Our friends raved about the Seafood Soup (Minestra). We've enjoyed similar dishes numerous times in Italy and looked forward to it very much. We got the broth and a few small pastas pieces, but no seafood....More

I will preface this by saying I don't eat pasta often because most places I visit don't make it fresh or don't make it good enough for my eyes to roll back. Felidia is not one of those places. I love truffle anything so the...More

Service, service, service from the moment you are seated and great for intimate dinners and for large parties in their upstairs and downstairs space. Great to share portions and a wine list to please even the most of wine snobs.Order their pasta dish with truffles.

Dinner for 6 with family at this supposed fine dining establishment was marred by an excessively noisy environment where one could not hear themselves think let alone hold a conversation without yelling. With tables jammed in to accommodate more diners than the space comfortably afforded,...More

This was a great restaurant. The food was very good. The wine selection was great. The only reason I give a 4 instead of a 5 is the food choices and presentation. Don't get me wrong, they tasted and looked fantastic, but they do not...More

I've eaten at Felidia many times and the hallmark is, they are gracious about accommodating guests. There is no kids menu but they would likely be glad to do a half portion of pasta or a relatively unadorned piece of fish... More

Felidia is located in a converted Brownstone on 58th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Opened in 1981 by Lidia Bastianich, Felidia offers a warm atmosphere where you can still find Lidia greeting guests and fans. Executive Chef Fortunato Nicotra has been with Felidia since 1996 and has brought an innovative touch to traditional ingredients and dishes from all the regions of Italy. Some of the restaurant's signature dishes include pear and fresh pecorino ravioli, veal shank ossobucco and limoncello tiramisu. Felidia also offers a delicious three course price-fixed lunch, Monday - Friday for $29.50 per person, making the restaurant great for business lunches or just a nice afternoon treat. For parties of 8 or more, Felidia offers our group dining menu rather than the a la carte menu. The group dining menu is a four course menu and includes our most popular dishes and seasonal favorites for $90.00 per person.
