La Mangeoire is a cozy French Bistro serving authentic French Fare. The wine list and cocktail choices are limited, but well chosen. While the food is still very good, the service is not what it was under the previous French regime. Gone are the excellent...More

After many years of being in business, this restaurant has reopened and continues the tradition of French food. The chef does a very good job. We were truly pleased with the mushroom soup, the coq au vin and a wonderful warm crêpe dessert with thin...More

La Mangeoire is a cozy French Bistro serving authentic French fare. The French onion soup was delicious and a meal in itself. The lobster bisque was also very tasty. While they have a reasonable price fixed dinner ( $47 p/p) that includes a choice of...More

Honestly, both my husband and I were disappointed. We're French so we're used to French food (good and bad), and this one was just okay. Especially for the (high) price. We got the escargots and grilled calamari for starters, and the scallops snd bavette for...More

All great food at this French countryside bistro in the middle of the city. Under new ownership and the manager, Gary, was a gracious host.

I have previously given this restaurant a glowing review as I have eaten there many times over the course of a few years. The service and staff (French) were tops and so was the food. Not so much any more. No French spoken anymore? The...More

We have been to this restaurant many times over the years. It has changed physically and the menu also. Not as French as before, large American style portions now and rather ordinary. Still good value if looking for a good meal without surprises or innovation.

Traditional, bistro-style two room restaurant well-patronized by locals. Prix fixe options are not necessarily much of a value. Good wine list, especially Languedoc Roussillon options, but relatively pricey. I'd recommend the French onion soup and the quarter chicken. The French fries are overrated by other...More
