I don't often review the same place more than once, but more and more I go back to places I like and am disappointed that the experience isn't the same. Well that wasn't the case with Tao. We have been here many times now and...More

Food was good and similar to downtown venue. Service was OK but not more. Venue and atmo @ Tao downtown are much more spectacular, if you don't happen to know, you may be OK here. Crowd was definitely less sophisticated. Overall that's a 'not again'...More

Our lunch at Tao uptown was a most innovative, flavorsome and enjoyable dining experience. The food was not only excellent but beautifully presented.

Went here after advice from a friend that this is “the” place to go to in NYC. Well apart from the noisy atmosphere, dull lighting and loud music I did not get the fact that is this a restaurant or a club. Well we ordered...More

The food at Tao is good (the orange chicken is delicious and crispy and sweet and spicy, and the coconut shrimp were perfect), but what you really go for is the atmosphere. Rich teens and middle aged women alike will pose and spend ages taking...More
