Went to lasagne in Midtown. I can tell you it way overpriced for the quality of food. We ate the lasagna and it was no better than you can make at home or get at any good Italian place. I understand NYC prices are high, but you can find better Italian food at a number of establishments. Try Becco or... More

I just ate dinner here and ordered chicken franchaise, the meat was not cooked and raw I'm literally walking home wondering if I'm going to puke. Disgusting

Lasagna has a nice varied Italian menu. The Fisulli Melazane was very good - the right portion of pasta to vegetables. I would recommend coming here for a moderately priced Italian meal. I did not try the namesake, but someone in my group did and enjoyed the lasagna too.

Holy moly! I've been coming to this place for brunch since 2009 and I can confidently tell you it's the best! I almost don't want to give it a review because I don't want it to get too popular. However - I can't be greedy! Best things on the menu - the penne all a vodka and the pancakes. I've... More

We discovered this pleasant little restaurant by walking the neighborhood. The menu looked good so we decided to try. They were not extremely busy so it was nice and quiet. It was an all around good experience.

We eat here twice during our stay in New our, it was close to our apartment. We found the service good and friendly. The food was well cooked and presented and generous portion sizes. Would return to this restaurant if we come back to New York.

We are frequent out-of-towners and have come to love Lasagna. We usually try to grab an outdoor table or one of the high-tops. It's a great people watching spot. It's not a huge place, but the food and service is great. My favs are the eggplant rollatini and cheese lasagna. The food is a bit old school italian, but very... More

Avoid this place unless you want to be abused.. Very average food and a little pricey for what it is. No prices on special menus.20 % gratuity added on top of meal and tax. As this was excessive we decided to leave the gratuity that we thought it was worth, after all a tip is not compulsory. As we left... More

Great food, I had the pancakes which were delicious and my friend had the French toast which she said was one of the best she's had. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive, and the complementary garlic bread was so good. We had the bottomless Bellini which was really good and always filled very quickly by our waiter. Great,... More

With numerous spots to check out on the UES, this corner bistro caters to everyone from couples to big parties. A party of six rolled in on a Saturday night and were greeted timely and had a wonderful dining experience. Great food with a variety of wine to accompany the meal. The service was very receptive and we had a... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
