The home of great caviar. Most of the other food is just so-so. The environs are wonderful, with fabulous Art Deco bronzes. But the chairs are uncomfortable; the seat padding seemed worn out. The wine list is somewhat feeble. Has time passed the place by?

If you like caviar, then you must try Petrossian restaurant. The service is excellent, the food is very tasty, and prepared with lots of love and attention.

The food at this establishment is phenomenal. The Crab Cake Benedict in lobster sauce with caviar is one of the best meals I have ever had. For dessert I had the rice pudding with straw ice cream. So unique and marvelous. Very romantic. The servers are warm and attentive. A little pricey but totally worth it.

Petrossian is as good as ever. The caviar and the rest of the dishes we had were perfect. If you wish to indulge in New York, Petrossian is the place.

Classic elegant Petrossian delivers on its promise. Perfect vodka martini and delicious salmon sampler plate. Perfectly presented with an attentive and helpful staff. Will come back for sure for lunch or dinner. A midtown gem.

After long days of meetings this is a favorite. Traditional, excellent service, no crazy music or crowd.

Petrossian in Paris has always been iconic, so i decided to try their New York establishment with my three guests. The locale is very elegant, the service attentive, but the food was simply uninteresting. The "amuse gueule": caviar marshmallows (lump fish?) chocolate bonbons filled with foie gras, and salmon flowers were prettier than tasty. We started with 50 grams each... More

Gorgeous elegant venue, surprisingly modern inside. Lovely staff attentive and pleasant. Glanced at the dinner menu but were happy with our osteria caviar and bubbles and the view at the bar. Will visit again when next in NYC

More than horrible, ruined our last evening in NYC. It took us three tries to get a bottle of wine when we were ordering off of their menu, out of everything! They pushed the sea bass so my friend and I ordered their "special fish of the day". Guess by "special", they meant rotten. We smelled it coming before it... More

Thank you for taking the time to visit our restaurant. I am beyond sorry to hear about your horrible experience. I assure you this is not the standard we hold our employees to. As elegant a venue as you will find. Service is first rate with formally cordial and knowledgeable waiters. The caviar choices are exquisite. There is NO "ordinary" food on the menu for entrees and for me that part of the menu is too much. Too contrived. We always enjoy it there and keep going back but always wonder if we'll... More

Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
