The food was absolutely stunning. Very beautiful to look at and in the main, delicious to eat. However, it is off the scale expensive. I was with 2 colleagues and with only one bottle of wine and a 3 other glasses of wine the bill was over $1200. That's a LOT of money. It is absolutely a fine dining experience... More

This is still our place to celebrate special occasions when we are visiting NYC. Food quality and presentation are elegantly prepared. The creativity takes you to different dimension of your imagination. We dined there last Sunday and could not be happier, despite the not so favorable review. Yes, it's pricey but worth every penny! Keep up the good work Per... More

We came for Saturday lunch, the impression from the beginning was impeccable. the view of Columbus circle with central park and upper eat side was a wonderful appetizer . the food was superb and the service matched the food , staff were friendly and not pretentious. Although very pricey the whole 3 hours experience was worth the price.

Impression-Very gluten friendly, pleasant and quiet atmosphere, service is polished and warm, two 9 course prix fixe menu are offered, large supplemental charges for “elevated” courses, the food is prepared well and flavorsome but no amazing moments, adequate wine by the glass selection, extensive wine list, service is included, overpriced for the value received, very expensive. We arrived at 8:55... More

A true NYC experience! Bring a big wallet as it is very pricey. Service is fabulous and the food beyond anyone's greatest expectations.

I always wanted to go to per se I finally went and it was poor. Everything was poor nothing special. I am finding it hard to actually write anything positive at all. It's so expensive for what amounts to ok food. Compare this to Brooklyn Faye and I would give that 5 stars the food, the service , the wine... More

On a trip from the UK visited for lunch with my wife and we both enjoyed tasting menus - my wife opted for the vegetarian and I went for the standard one. Both menus were excellent and do not forget the extras that they present as well ! Very high class service as expected with well explained courses and the... More

Firstly, the location and view of Columbus Circle and the Park is outstanding. The staff were very warm and helpful and it is a nice room. Having dined in several 3 star Michelin places, including others by Chef Keller, I had my hopes up. Unfortunately, they may have been too high. Overall, the dishes were all very good, but it... I have been wanting to come here since experiencing such a delightful dinner at the French Laundry 5 years ago. The atmosphere is more upscale and sterile than Yountville, but the food was just as good. The service was impeccable. The sommelier chose perfect wines for our meal and the charge was not excessive. My gluten free dishes were almost... More

Faultless in every way. Creative, exciting food, impeccable service and a true culinary experience. We were a group of 8 in a private room which worked perfectly, affording us enough privacy but allowing us to feel connected to the main restaurant due to the glass wall. And the view over Central Park was outstanding. It does feel a little odd... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
