Our meal started at the (very crowded) bar with an absolutely fantastic, fresh, perfectly balanced cucumber martini My friend and I enjoy sharing courses so we are able to experience more of the menu. We started with the artichoke heart and aioli and the seared foie gras. Our server noticed we were not LOVING the artichoke heart. It was pleasant... More

What an EPIC DISAPPOINTMENT! We went there for breakfast. I never expected to see a chocolate covered donut at a Jean Georges restaurant. I ordered soft poached eggs which kind of had the consistency of a 63 degree egg that was over cooked. I ordered sour dough bread but got white bread. I would have gladly sent it back if... More

The service is exceptional, the food exquisite. Try the butter scotch pudding for dessert. This is first place I am visiting when I go back to NYC.

We went for lunch there. For a $35 package, we got three courses. We liked the squash soup, tuna tartar, and calamari. Though, the sauce for tuna tartar was bit of heavy that covered the rest food taste. The fish filet was cooked right, and veggies were sauteed well. In a word, $35 was a good price to try at... This upscale restaurant is a must if you are in the area. The atmosphere is very nice with a nice party feeling. The food is of course amazing like the service and the wine list.

We had a table at the window, facing the corner of central Park. Add this to the perfect presentation of all the dishes and the intense thus discrete and balanced taste of all the plates that we had, and you will have a perfect lunch meal!! From the tartar tuna with lemon and ginger salse (exquisite). The delicious lobster hamburguer... More

This is Jean Georges sister restaurant and honestly the quality of the food is just as good (me and my girlfriend attended both). Nougatine is less formal than a Michelin star style (no jacket required) but nonetheless was excellent food and service. If you are looking for fine dining but without the effort of dressing formally and would prefer a... More

We were surprised to discover that this restaurant is located in the Trump Tower but interestingly, the decor could not be more different in that it was muted and simple Service was great and a scalf I inadvertently left in the ladies room, immediately located post meal. We asked to split the bill but both received a credit card chit... More

Once again, overthinking a restaurant is a terrible thing. Lemme ask you, when traveling by plane and walk thru First Class seating, are you upset that you're not getting the bigger seats and upscale meal? Or do you just walk thru and say, good luck folks, enjoy that expensive up charge? If you're like me, I don't care. The difference... More

Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients.
