We stayed at the New Yorker Hotel (in the same building). So very easy to have a have a good meal and then go "see the sights". The service is very good and the food adequate.

There have been mixed reviews of this place but we've eaten here twice so far and been more than happy. Last night we had a quick dinner before heading across the road to Madison Square Gardens to see Kings of Lean. We both had burgers and they were yummy. This morning we went back for brunch. I had blueberry pancakes... More

I have eaten here many times over the past 2 years. Location is "attached" to the New Yorker. Breakfast is fantastic, I normally get the Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich. Bread is always fresh and the Orange juice is real. I had the pancakes the last trip and they were excellent. This is not a fancy upscale restaurant, it's a... More

this diner is attached to The New Yorker, where we stayed. Food was good but not cheap. We had breakfast items.

Quirky inside, quick service and tasty food. Renovations were taking place outside and the Tick Tock neon light inside was not working correctly.. we visited twice the first time was lovely and prompt service, the second time the waiters argued over us as they all wanted us to sit in their areas, service was a little slower but food was... I used to like this place until they gave me dirty silverware and the very dirty water pictured below. This place is so convenient but not worth it. The bathroom is disgusting, the water looks like its from Flint, and the silverware was betong spotty. I shouldn't have to ask for clean utensils...the staff should pay attention to that b4... More

This place is really good located just in front of Madison Square Garden/Penn Station. Is really big and operates 24 hours so you can eat anytime. We had pancakes and they were huge and delicious. The service is fast and the staff very friendly. We spent same money as in other diners...New York is expensive so consider to pay minimum... More

Very unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. Food was nothing to write home about either. They expect a service charge of 25% as well (and remind you this is a separate charge when you get your change) Would not rerun again

Visited here based on reviews from Trip Advisor. Efficient place, friendly staff, lots of choice on the menu. Brekkie was enjoyed by both of us!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
