An unpretentious little, literally little French restaurant two steps from Lincoln Center and Central Park West. Classic traditional french bistro food. The roast duck is delicious.

Food was rather good though not memorable or exciting.however service was unfriendly and not professional, perhaps out french waiter had bad day.Tables are terribly crammed in a very small space, so impression that everybody is sitting at the same table. It was OK, but can not add any more.Prices were reasonable

Came here before a matinee at the Met and had a lovely meal. Food was excellent and service just right. Wish I had a place just like this in my own neighborhood!

Had dinner here with a large group on short notice. One of the few places that would accommodate a group of 12. This was the our second visit and it was as good as the first. Menu has a variety of items, food was prepared very well and the service was attentive.

Wife and I dined there before our Opera at Met. They are very close to the Lincoln center (5 mins walk) and they offer pre-theater fixed menu for $50/pp for 3 course meal. It's a very small and tight restaurant where coat check is mandatory. Food is plentiful unlike typical french restaurants. Wife had salmon dish that she wasn't too... More

Six of us had dinner early on a Monday evening so there was no real pressure. And this is the "local" of one of the couples, so that ensured outstanding service. The country pâté in aspic and endive(and other greens) salad with chevre were excellent starters. Salmon entree was as good as it gets and basic roast chicken was also... More

We visited this tiny French restaurant last night before the NY Philharmonic concert. Their pre-theatre menu was substantial and augmented with several specials. The daily pasta was mushroom stuffed ravioli in a light tomato sauce, available as an appetizer or entree. It was excellent. Most of your table of four had the veal medallions special, which was tender and very... More

New York is famous for stores and restaurants that are about 17 feet wide. This place is small but the food is worth a visit. A note of cauton, do not expect fast service.

This little small, tight, cozy place was one of the highlights of our recent visit to NYC. Our travels have taught us to get away from the crowded tourist spots and into the local neighborhoods to fine the really good restaurants. To our delight, someone (a local) suggested we try this restaurant and the experience was fantastic. We don't mind... More
