An amazing night. Perfect Sushi. Loved the food. Was recommended by the hotel. Very expensive but worth every penny.

Masa was recommended by the concierge as one of the top sushi restaurant in NY. We went just before going to the Met on Dec 9. Service was not friendly. Food was fair but too pricey for the taste and quality (even in NY).Very disappointing. May be we were unfortunate and went on an off night...

We had dinner at Masa on the 19th of December. Chef Masa was on vacation. What can I say, absolutely amazing. Can recommend. Must do at least once.

Our table had a range of the dishes, and each of them was special and delicious. The staff was wonderful and gave great recommendations! Definitely give this place a try!

The quality is good but not outstanding. The place is nice inside but it's in a mall. The sushi is slapped on the plate with no much ado - this isn't the very typical Japanese high end restaurant and respect for the food and customers wasn't observed. It didn't help either none of the chefs were Japanese (Masa was not... More

This establishment was known to be the most expensive restaurant in the United States. It was relatively easy to reserve a table, unlike Le Bernardin. We reserved the same day with no problems getting a table. The dishes were beautifully presented, small works of art on little plates. Watching the chef prepare the sashimi in front of us added to... We had dinner when masa was in la and that was many years ago. The new spot is even more refined. While it was probably the most expensive meal we have had, more than any European spot as well, it was a wonderful experience. The sushi is amazing and the quality unlike any in the city. The speed at which... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
