We stopped in partially on a whim, but also after hearing that their Orecchiette in a rabbit ragu was awesome. We were immediately sat upon arrival and were tended to by our waiter immediately as well. Menus and wine list were brought out and a solid recommendation on a wine was made once I had explained what I was looking... More

I've been a fan of I Truli for at least 25 years. I booked a table tonight not realizing it was Valentines Day. When I did, I figured it would be a bit of a night. Place was busy as would be expected for this holiday. But what no one expected was the place had rented out half the restaurant... More

I was very impressed with this quaint little restaurant. Fabulous fish grilled and pan seared. Excellent home made pasta - recommend the one with tomato sauce and sausage. Nice wine. Good atmosphere with a fire burning and great service.

Went on a Tuesday during lunch in December, and experienced no issues with my reservation. Restaurant was crowded, and delivery of our entrees was just a bit slow, not a big deal. We ordered buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes and two plates of pasta. Mozzarella was outstanding. Fresh and delicate. Tomatoes were sweet and tasty. Fresh Orecchiette were cooked well and... More

My companion and I really enjoyed I Trulli. I have been here about 3 times before. Each time I felt it was very good, but priced a little high for regular visits. As with many restaurant meals, you realized that the appetizers were the tastiest part of the meal. We had octopus, which was the best we both had ever... More

Good service. Service was fine and not overwhelming is as in some Anerican restaurants. Food was decent but not more then that. The pasta as an appetizer was home made and very tastefull. I had the suggestion of the day which was a T bone steak. I specifically asked for medium rare but it was cooked well done which is... More

My son and I visited iTrulli on our last night in New York and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was the best we have experienced. The waiters were attentive and not too pushy. I understand that restaurants in NYC are busy but sometimes you feel like the waiters want you in and out as... More

Great place, fire place. Appetizers were all very good. Eggplant, grilled calamari, grilled octopus, Chickpea Fritters with goat cheese. Main course Veal chops were terrific, with broccoli rape and roasted baby potatoes. Orecchiette with Rabbit Ragu was delicious. Nice selection of moderate priced wines.

This is a very nice Italian restaurant with waiters that anticipated our every need. Although Italian we ended up getting the seafood special. The restaurant isnt cheap but by NY standards reasonable. We had a lovely romantic dinner.

Opened in 1994, Nicola Marzovilla's warm and welcoming restaurant has been a favorite for 15 years for those in search of hearty, delicious Italian specialties. Chef Patti Jackson's celebrated menu draws on the regional cuisine of the Marzovillas' homeland, Puglia. Nicola's mother, Dora, prepares hand-rolled fresh pastas daily. The restaurant is famed for its all-Italian wine list (expertly selected by Marzovilla), and the adjoining Enoteca offers lighter food and by-the-glass choices. I Trulli is a popular destination all-year round: diners can sit by the glow of the main room's rustic fireplace in winter, while in the warmer months are treated to the lush splendor of one of Manhattan's finest outdoor garden spaces.
