Went there since it was close to the hotel and the reviews were good on Tripadvisor. Good wine list and the food was plentiful. We ordered appetizers and probalbly could have split the main course. I had the lamb shank and my wife had the veal. They were also able to substitute the starch with veggies. Good service and good... More

We went to have dinner and have a good time. The ambience is good, vibrant and the place is nice. The food is very good. We had cesar salad, fish and pasta and it all was very solid. Our waiter very educated and helpful, the guys pouring water were born"present" and their attitude was as if they didn't care much.... More

I went here with a group of 10 or so, and while I enjoyed the food, I thought the service was very uneven. The waiters were slow to fill our water/wine glasses, and then brought appetizers and first courses at the same time, overwhelming the table with food. I had the Branzino as my main course, which was excellent, but... More

Came in from a cold NYC evening to a cosy and friendly restaurant. The service was very good (three different waitresses...) and the place was , unlike other NY restaurants, quiet and not presumptuous. The food was delicious! I had the Fritto Misto that was an extremely large and tasty first course , my only reservation was the red sauce which... More

We chose this place based on location between 2 parties going out for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Big crowded noisy place; sounded like everyone was having a good time. Good basic Italian food. Professional and seemingly veteran service staff. Very good prices for mid town Manhattan.

This restaurant was 5 star from start to finish. We are a family of five with three teenage girls and sampled antipasto, salads, pasta, pizza and great desserts. The waiter was fantastic, the wine list was small with great Italian options. Wish we had more days in NYC to return as we certainly would. Wish this was my local Italian.

Went to NYC for Christmas shopping. Looked for a good place to have lunch and got a good referral from one of New York's Finest on 42nd Street. We were greeted promptly with a smile and a warm welcome which is not always the case in New York. We were given a quiet table in the corner. Our waiter was... More

Went to New York on Christmas Day. We made reservations ahead of our visit. The restaurant was quite full yet our table was ready at the time specified. The staff are friendly and professional. The fried calamari was cooked just right - it was so tender and tasty. I ordered the mushroom risotto which was well prepared and finished with... More

My family and I went to Osteria Laguna for Dinner after a show on Sunday Dec.18. We walked up with no reservations and were greeted happily and seated right away. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant but not pretentious. They have a beautiful long bar , and for the size of the place it seems very quiet by New York standards.... More

Went here this past weekend on recommendation for great pasta and pizza and we were both thoroughly impressed by the food, as someone who loves bolognese this was one of the best I've had similarly with the pizza easily one of the best we've had. Furthermore the waiters were friendly and efficient. Will definitely return upon our next trip.

Thank Adam G

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
