We ate here 3 years ago and had a lovely meal. However, our experience this time was totally the opposite. Whilst the food was good the tables were set extremely close together so that you could hear every word of the conversations on either side...More

Definitely a landmark restaurant, the signature dish is the Mutton Chop which is enormous. Th service is impeccable bookings necessary but well worth the effort. Large range of dishes, great choice and food is superb.

if your kids eat steak it should be fine.
I've dined here before but am visiting NY on their first trip to NY in late May and thought we'd have our first meal at the bar. I've looked at the online menu and was wondering if there is more, am thinking of my mother who likes her salads. I know you've got a couple listed but are there any other pub menu items not listed? Thanks in advance.

Keens Steakhouse, a classic New York chophouse, was already famous for its steaks and chops at the turn of the century. Founded in 1885, Keens has 90,000 clay pipes that line the ceilings – pipes once smoked by customers after dinner. Today Keens legendary mutton chops and dry aged prime steaks are still without equal in the city.
