Staying not far away we thought we'd try a steak on a Sunday night, thinking it might not be too busy? Wrong! Had an hour wait for a table for 2, as we didn't want to eat at the bar. Finally got drinks at the...More

Shared a Porterhouse, and it was quite simply the best steak I've ever tasted bar none - particularly the Filet Mignon section. Mouthwatering goes not even come close to describing it! Chips were also really good! Cocktails were exceptionally alcoholic and therefore the perfect appetiser...More

Keens Steakhouse is over 120 years old, and it has that old authentic feel to it. It isn't pretty but it reeks story and permanency. I ordered the 26oz T-Bone and my wife the lamb cutlets.... OMG the T-Bone I couldn't eat it all, but...More

if your kids eat steak it should be fine.
I've dined here before but am visiting NY on their first trip to NY in late May and thought we'd have our first meal at the bar. I've looked at the online menu and was wondering if there is more, am thinking of my mother who likes her salads. I know you've got a couple listed but are there any other pub menu items not listed? Thanks in advance.

Keens Steakhouse, a classic New York chophouse, was already famous for its steaks and chops at the turn of the century. Founded in 1885, Keens has 90,000 clay pipes that line the ceilings – pipes once smoked by customers after dinner. Today Keens legendary mutton chops and dry aged prime steaks are still without equal in the city.
