My family and I stumbled across this restaurant as we had been to see the ghostbusters fire station. It was an amazing find and I would definitely go there again when we visit NYC again. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! Definitely worth a visit!

The interior is more like a cosy bar than a restaurant and that makes the place quite special. The pizza we ordered had a real Italian taste and bottom. Fresh herbs and rucola leaves. Simply delicious. Go and visit!

We happened upon this place after going to a museum. They have a couple tables to sit outside and it was the perfect day to do so. The street it's on is very quiet with few people walking by so it was relaxing. The wait staff was very attentive and kept coming out to make sure we were ok. My... More

We stumbled across this place in September 2015 when they were filming an episode of 'The Affair' there. We weren't sure if it was an actual restaurant, or just set up for the scene, so when we passed it again on this trip and saw it was open we decided to have lunch there. As fans of 'The Affair', it... More

Took the family here for dinner. Awesome meatball Panini. Kids had pizza......they loved it. Looks like a super fancy place from the outside, but we went in with jeans and sweaters. It was slow the night we were there, but I highly recommend it!!!

I walk past this restaurant all the time and had never eaten there. It's owned by the same people who own Walker's (which is next door). I was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent. The appetizers, pizza and main courses were all amazing. I'll be back!

We were in New York for the day and wanted to have a nice slice of pizza while we were in the city. We found this place as we were walking towards the 9/11 memorial. What a nice place, we decided to take advantage of their lunch special which was a pizza and a bottle of wine for $45. We... More

After walking a few blocks we finally found a place to eat that was available for lunch at 3:30, We loved their pizza margherita with goat cheese and pancetta. We also ordered pancetta pasta with pine nuts. Everything was delicious. Nice attendant and very clean place.

Randomly found this homely Italian and really enjoyed tasty, fresh salads and the best spaghetti Bolognese I've ever had - no exaggeration! Icing on the cake is a good selection of beers and friendly service. Worth going out of our way to go here again if we visit New York in the future.

I had a quick lunch at Girello with some coworkers and we really enjoyed the meal. All 3 of us had pizza so I can attest to the full menu but the pizza was very good. Service was efficient and friendly. This is not a large establishment and the kitchen looked pretty small so it could get crazy during busy-hours... More

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
