Love this place. The pre-fixe menu is a great value for a fantastic meal, especially in NYC. I had the octopus appetizer which was delicious followed by a wonderful Greek salad. Salmon entree was fabulous and sorbet was a nice finish to a great meal. Service is terrific. I highly recommend.

Excellent mid-town restaurant with the freshest seafood including many unique types of fish. The waiter will review each type of fish and the suggestion for preparing it. As a starter, the fresh tomato salad is a must! And, the wine list is very nice as well.

Our concierge recommend this restaurant so we were expecting good things. My prawn starter was very nice, we both ordered crab legs for mains and then everything went down hill. The 'legs' came up cold even though we were told they would be cooked in olive oil while my fries weren't even brought up. We both tried the crab cold... More

This was our last night dinner, and we truly enjoyed, the grilled octopus was amazing and the lobster pasta is a must have "great for two or even three", the sauce is the secret The place is buzzy and full, but you feel welcomed and well served Great visit and great food

Came to milos on a Sunday night. It was busy and not overwhelming. The waiter took us to the fish market and explained the fish in detail. Al the fish looked fresh and we're beautiful. For appetizer we had the grilled stuffed calamari. Very tasty! Then my parents ordered whole levraki with capers and lemon and my husband and i... More

Great place--we had a very early pre-theatre dinner, which is a good value at $49.99 per person. I would go there again, to have the regular menu--which allows you to go to the back of the restaurant (The "Market") and choose your fresh fish to be cooked. Very fresh, delicious ingredients; pretty space (industrial but softned with white fabric and... More

I go there almost every time I stay in midtown. Excellent choice before or after theatre. Great seafood with an authentic Greek flare.

They are very respectful of theater times and will get you out in time to make your curtain! The salmon and Filet were great. Key lime pie was amazing. Service was a tad slow. But still satisfactory.

I am a regular New York visitor. Twice a year. Every time I return to this indescribable city, I make sure to have at least one meal at this restaurant. Fish and Greek Tomato Salad are a must, even though whatever order will be rated ten. Don’t miss. Just GO..

Description
It was in 1980, when Chef-Owner Mr. Costas Spiliadis opened the first Estiatorio Milos on Park Avenue, Montreal. The reason seemed obvious to him: the need to elevate the sophistication of Greek cuisine abroad far away from its stereotyped forklorization.

'I wanted to change what people thought about Greek cuisine, make sure it's being appreciated and awarded with its rightful place on an international level!'

As a small restaurant, Milos gained the trust of the Montrealers in no time. The menu being always simple and impeccably fresh, drew the attention of the media and food critics from around the world. NY Post has triumphly started that 'Milos fish could only be fresher if it swam to your plate!'

What was the secret that made Milos stand out? Its focus in finding the purest Mediterranean products and cooking with the freshest ingredients.Through 35 years of intensive research, we have managed to build lasting relationships with growers and small-scale fisheries at the shores of Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, flying in our fish and seafood daily by plane! Milos has since then taken the world by strom and opened in 1997 in NYC, in 2004 in Athens,in 2010 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and in 2012 in Miami Beach and in 2015 in London!

We invite you to live the Milos experience and celebrate with us our 35th year anniversary!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
