Fantastic Italian food in Hell's Kitchen. A good friend of mine introduced me to this spot now any time I feel like Italian food I want to take a trip to NYC just to eat at ViceVersa. I had a pasta dish with a parmesan cheese sauce, only half a portion. I showed incredible restraint by NOT licking the bowl.... More

We went to the restaurant after seeing a show on Broadway. It was just 30 minutes before the kitchen was supposed to close, but the waiter said it was not a problem to get dinner. Another company arrived after us, so we weren't the last ones. At first we got a good feeling, but as soon as we had ordered... More

5 days in New York and a visit to ViceVersa was our treat to ourselves as an upscale restaurant in an already expensive city. Positive's first, it's a nice place and the food we had was very good. My wife ordered the Lasagne , they brought her lamb. We explained that we had ordered lasagne not lamb, "oh don't you... More

Exceptional melt in your mouth spinach lasagna with a cream sauce (instead of a red sauce)! We had the Panacotta for dessert - the four of us shared it for a taste. It was soooo delicious we ordered a second one! The service was spot on! It was a great way to begin our visit to NYC!

Ate here last night with my husband and a friend. Realized when we got there that we had been there before. Our waiter could not have been more perfect. Friendly, very informative--pointed out the chef's specialties, gave us a little background--but not one of those waiters who's always interrupting your conversation to ask if everything is ok. All of our... More

Delicious! Obviously this chef knows what he is doing. Appetizers, pastas, entrees and salads were each prepared beautifully. I don't mind spending a bit of money when the food is this good!

Had dinner here with friends. I started with the Eggplant Caponata which was tasy and a tad sweet, followed by the salmon which was wonderful and also brussels sprouts which had bacon and a hint of sweetness.

We went for the first time to this restaurant couple of days ago, and if you appreciate your time and money I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Ambiance and decoration very poor, bad service, bad food quality and very expensive. 1) Food: Extremely poor quality overall. Everything that we ordered was tasteless. Also, we ordered the “ravioli di zucca all... More

My friend and I came to talk and eat, in that order. Usually noise levels preclude the talking part, but here it was actually possible. Nice positioning of tables - not too close to each other. The North Italian food was excellent. The bread very good, and the Italian wines not too young. The service was helpful and unintrusive. We... More

Our family of 4 dined here on a quiet Sunday night. The restaurant is lovely, very tastefully decorated. We shared the arancini and brussel sprouts to begin. The arancini was superb - very rich. It was not served with sauce - bit it didn't need any The brussel sprouts were very good.. We all had different pasta dishes for our main... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
