We had decided to do Becco before the show and made reservations for 6:30. Having been there before we knew it should be no issue for an 8-no late seating show. From 6:30-6:55 we were repeatedly told the table would be ready. At 7 we left as we didn't want to feel rushed to eat in 30 min. I was... More

Had a reservation for a table of 8, prior the the November Billy Joel concert. Met our group at the bar, where we had a few drinks prior to dinner. I tremendous pet peeve of mine is when drinks are measured at a bar. This is not he case here and the pours were generous. We were promptly seated at... More

I've been dining here for years and it is always consistent, always delicious, and the service is outstanding ! Especially if you are in NYC and going to a Broadway show - this is the perfect place for your lunch or dinner. The value for the quality is the best you'll find - I can't say enough about it. I... Becco isn't just Italian...it's great Italian, with something for everyone. We've been there twice and had great food each time. From appetizers (prosciutto) to dessert (chocolate torte) and everything in between, you can't go wrong. We've had hangar steak, short ribs, swordfish, chicken, and whole roasted branzino. The three pasta option is good...but, the night we got it, the sauces... More

The pasta special was great value. As much as you can eat of 3 different pasta dishes. They were all very good, varied flavours. The food wasn't amazing enough to be 5 out of 5. But I would go back again if I was in NY and wanted lots to eat.

Situated on Restaurant Row, Becco is lively, full of energy, and great food! Tables are tightly packed together, but this only adds to the upbeat ambiance of the restaurant. Known for their 'sinfonia di paste", this is one of the best deals in town along with the $29 wine list. We started with the pear and gorgonzola cheese salad with... More

We had a delicious meal here following a Broadway show (The Book of Mormon - hilarious!). The food is real Italian, and tastes great.

Can't beat this place for pre-theater dinner. We ordered the daily fish special and the swordfish. Both were wonderful. Their chocolate moose cake is sinfully delicious. 1 piece is enough for 4 people! The place is always unbelievably crowded but the service is great and they make sure to get you out in time for your show.

My wife and I went here while on vacation. We made a reservation and we were seated immediately. The server was very nice and informative. Our drinks, appetizers, and our meals were excellent. The service was great, the food was excellent, and we would go back to this place anytime. My wife and I agreed that Becco was our most... More

If you're hungry, go to Becco. You start with complimentary bread with olive oil drizzled hummus and unlimited olives. We each got the special - choice of Caesar salad or antipasto to start and then unlimited THREE different pasta dishes! The Caesar salad was a bit bland for our liking, garlic was missing. But the pasta made up for it.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
