Went there for dinner and could not have been nicer. The menu is quite diverse so we had everything from dumplings to steak tartare to salmon. All was very tasty. The mood is relaxed and not pretentious but low key sophisticated. Service was attentive and...More

Great meal to celebrate a birthday. Mussels and frites were awesome, lamb shank special was done to perfection, and delicious desserts. Great wine list and very reasonable. Fun bar to have a drink. Lots of energy in the restaurant with tables packed in tight. That...More

I had lunch here today. It is a French brasserie. Although it is started in 1980, it looks as if it is as old as La Couple in Paris. This was the place where the Downtown literary and artistic communities hung out. Bright Lights, Bright...More

Wonderful atmosphere. Understated and comfortable. Great american food like mac n cheese, salads, very good side dishes. Affordable and casual. Bar is a great place to meet up. Convenient near the Chamber Street subway.

The restaurant is medium in size with a smaller bar. I did not eat here but will say the seating area looked inviting. While the bar was busy, the crowd was filled with folks just getting off from work and gave a nice easy feel...More
