Such great reviews and such a disappointment. I guess we are spoiled by good food. We ordered chicken curry, spring rolls and dumplings. Wrapping of spring rolls was mushy, overcooked and something mushy and overcooked was inside. Dumplings were same as from the frozen section...More

After passing Tsampa on a food crawl over the summer, my wife and I told ourselves we would have to come back and try it. So one Friday night, when we didn't know where to eat, I told her to meet me there, and I...More

A simply amazing meal.... dined here on a Saturday evening and began the meal with an off menu appetizer- beef momo, the each dumpling had a unique blend of spice that melded with the beef and each dumpling contains a small amount of broth so...More

There is no shortage of good restaurants in NYC however this one is a favorite of mine in this price range. The ambiance was great and the food was very good. I will go back the next time I am in the city.

A good array of Himalayan food across India, Nepal and Bhutan set in a ambiance that is inviting. Good service. Do not miss the Himalayan Momos.

Tibet is indeed far and difficult to get to from most parts of the world. But you can have a taste of it right in New York City. The food is tasty and carefully prepared. The atmosphere is other worldly.

We have eaten here a few times now and the food has always been good and seems to be prepared in healthful ways. Having dined here with Tibetan people and having spent much time in Tibet, we have been disappointed by the lack of authenticity...More

old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
