We enjoy sitting at the bar at Gramercy. The food is always fantastic, but the drinks are Ah-MAZING! The prices are a little steep, but we've been 3x and it's always a great experience.

The prix fixe menu was a delight. The ruby shrimp salad first course was delicious. Lamb main course was perfectly medium rare. The wine list continues stellar with a real strength in French wines, many of which were within reach. The staff was attentive and...More

best burger in NYC! If you want to talk wine at this place make sure you know what you're talking about. Their sommelier Justin knows more about wine than anyone I've ever met.

Booked Dining Room but opt for Tavern seating since there was still one table available when I arrived at 12:30 pm. Excellent service and great food as always. I always make sure I book a meal at Gramercy Tavern whenever I visit NYC.

The dress code is business casual. Seems black leather jacket should be fine. Enjoy your time there.

One of America’s most beloved restaurants, Gramercy Tavern has welcomed guests for close to two decades to enjoy seasonal American cuisine, warm hospitality and unparalleled service. The restaurant is perennially ranked at the top of Zagat Survey’s ‘Most Popular’ list, and has garnered eight James Beard Awards including ‘Outstanding Restaurant’ and ‘Best Chef: NYC’. Chef Michael Anthony’s highly seasonal menu consists of elegant dishes with a rustic influence that showcase the restaurant’s relationships with local farms and purveyors. The Main Dining Room serves prix-fixe menus starting at $92 for dinner and an a la carte menu for lunch, and accepts reservations 28 days in advance. The more casual Tavern serves an a la carte menu centered around the wood burning grill, and welcomes guests on a walk-in basis. The restaurant also features an acclaimed wine list, and thoughtfully selected beer and cocktail offerings.
