If you are expecting a good, unpretentious place for northern Italian fare this is your spot. The only problem is the rediculous prices they charge for average portions of standard Italian cooking. Veal pamigian, while not in the menu, will set you back a cool...More

I would suggest going here if you want to see the "scene". It is quite a socialite crowd, and always packed. The food is decent, and prices are standard for Ny Italian restaurant. Service was poor both times I was there.

At first you wonder why this place is always packed. Then after the elegant Maître D seats you with the owner's blessing, the charm is on. Beware of the pricey specials, but, hey, who is counting when the quality is there and the service so...More

Worth a trip to the Upper East Side. A great neighborhood spot populated by mostly regulars. Very reasonable prices with very friendly and efficient service. Our reserved table was ready and waiting, our large party of 10 was seated immediately. The soft shell crab was...More

Disappointing meal in an awkward crowded restaurant. Look for better Italian restaurant options in the area.

Yes, I saw Tom Selleck here, and I thought he looked wonderful. There is a certain vibe here, but all the comments I read about service not being the same for non-famous, I did not get that. We were a party of about 10 so...More

The food is excellent, however, it is very noisy and uncomfortably crowded. It is also, I feel overpriced for what you get, example $15 for a lettuce only salad with a few pieces of gorgonzola cheese.

A gem since 1981. They must be doing everything right. Never lets us down. Great staff and ownership. Food always perfectly prepared. Cocktails and wine are substantial. Lively atmosphere. Wednesdays are meatball night and Sunday/Monday a great lasagna. Families are welcome specifically early dinner Sunday's.

Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have
easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural
