Neighborhood gem if on the East Side. Excel at traditional dishes (and drinks 🤗🤗🤗). From salmon to sausage to seafood type dishes they get it right. Owner/manager just a great guy!

I came to NYC alone on business on a Friday night. This restaurant is friendly and welcoming and has numerous Latin customers which I took as a good sign. Menu was interesting. I ordered from the prix fix menu which was a good value and...More

This may still excel, but with a long time under the shadow of the Second Avenue subway construction, it just seemed like an off-avenue bar for locals. But inside there was an effort to provide gourmet meat dishes and finer service. The problem is it...More

Not sophisticated. Small and very simpático. We had picadinho. A little strange to have rice and beans and mashed potatoes in the same dish. I would suggest farofa, instead. The desserts lacked a bit of taste, but were ok. I would go back.
