I had high expectations of this 'celebrity' restaurant but left not quite overly satisfied. The service was punctual, unobtrusive and our server was well informed. Starters: Beets with stracciatella and hazelnut dressing and asparagus with a lemon vinaigrette dressing: good. Pasta courses: The gnocchi with...More

Everytime I go to NY I saver time to have breakfast in Prune. The place I believe has looked the same for a long time, the atmosfere is relaxed, very New Yorker, and not Touristic at all. The Big Pear Pancake is the best!!!

Lupa is one of Mario Batali’s NYC restaurants and we observed it has had many good reviews. It appears they were all deserved. I stay on the upper west side when visiting the City and Lupa is easily accessible from the 2 train by getting...More

We met some friends here for dinner after work and it seemed like something worth trying since Mario Batali's name is attached to it. I have to say the meal was good but nothing I couldn't make at home with some top quality pasta from...More

Lunch at Lupa is a real treat. The food and service is lovely. The spaghetti carbonara is particularly good. We found the portions quite large so only had the pasta course. Desserts were lovely (the goats cheese panna cotta was lovely. If you are in...More

Cozy, intimate environment with exposed brick, nice table spacing. Warm staff and knowledgeable about food. Crispy duck w/a sweet & sour twist moist w/generous in bone plating. Spinach salad w/chickpea croquettes, divine, and light! Server then sprinkled spectacular fried bits of pancetta on top w/parmesan....More

Lupa is a small Roman restaurant in the Greenwich Village area. Reservations are essential because the place is tiny! If you can get past sitting close enough to people that you can hear their entire conversation, then go because the food is well worth it!...More

Good pasta, small portions. Good service. A bit pricey but I would recommend it. Make sure to book in advance as it gets crowded quickly.

We went with friends and all had the Roman Tasting Menu. The food itself was very good, with the pastas being outstanding and good wine pairings. However, service was rushed and impersonal and overall did not feel that the experience lived up to what we...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
