We though that food and service at Lupa was not exceptional. Still, it was enjoyable. We liked the linguini and the pork, vegetables were very good. I'm not sure that I'd return with all the competition among so many top notch nyc Italian restaurants.

We really enjoyed the food here but it took a long time for us to sit even with reservations on a Thursday night. The pasta was excellent though and the ambience was nice although too loud for us. The service was very good. It's worth...More

Just excellent in all respects. On a Wed. night (a relatively slow one), the place was reasonably full but I got in w/o a problem to the communal table. I had the pasta tasting memo w wine pairings, a good mix of traditional and somewhat...More

How fitting that one dines in Lupa under a passage (badly translated) from Ovid’s Fasti about Lupa the wolf, as the poor sheep are crowded into a dark cave with frightful sounds, waiting to be fleeced. And fleeced they are. Italian food is about joy,...More

We ate here in 2005 and were keen to return. Pre-booked a table for the Sunday night and so glad we did. We sat at the back of the restaurant which was a bit quieter than the front. The wait staff were all very friendly,...More

Wonderful Italian restaurant. I ate for starter "tripa" and prosciutto, I recommend, delicious. Mean course a até a wonderful octopus. The wine list is good, but a little expensive.

We went here early on a Thursday and it was nice and quiet. By the time we left the place was packed. The food was decent. I had carbonara. The bacon wasnt as good as i expected.

Every time we travel to NYC we go for lunch or dinner at LUPA. Great food in a cozy ambiance. Also their Italian wine list is great!! It is a must!

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
