The tuna pizza was the best tuna dish I’ve ever had. Sooo fire. Everything is great. You have to ask for soy sauce if you want any because they don’t keep it at the table. All around great experience.

We spent alot of money here! Four of us dined here (outside) and three of us enjoyed two rounds of drinks. Our server guided us well. Everything was fabulous. Luckily, because the bill wAs big! Japanese food always seems expensive. I would return in a heartbeat after a few paychecks.

I honestly came in here loaded, so take this review with a grain of salt. I was invited to join this dinner with some old friends that I met Freshman year of college. I ended up transferring after sophomore year, meanwhile their friendships kept on budding and grew into something beautiful and special. When I was invited last minute, I took it as an honor. We met for a few drinks before, and then headed over to BondST. Why I am telling you all of this? I have no idea but it feels important to set the scene. I'm a visual guy. When we checked in for our 9:30 res, it was about a 20 minute wait which was irksome but not abnormal. We waited at the packed bar to pass the time. One of the girls in the group asked what I wanted to drink. So thoughtful. I opted for an old-fashion as I thought I would look beast drinking it in my new suit jacket I just picked up from L-Train. I was correct. Beast. The hostess came up and said our table was ready. After a short elevator ride, we were seated in the back corner of the top room. Beast again. At this point we ordered more drinks, which really TAGGED me. Hit me like that body shot Tank hit Ryan Garcia with. I was involved in ordering the food, with another girl in our group taking the lead. Thank Jesus, I needed to be led at this point. We ordered family style and the items included seaweed salads, Big Eye Tuna, Tuna Crispy rice, Shrimp Tempura, Steamed Black Sea Bass, Spicy Tuna rolls, Spicy yellow tail rolls, and the Wagyu Skirt Steak. I loved everything with the highlight being the Tuna Crispy Rice and Wagyu Skirt Steak. All in all, BondST is a great place to catch up with friends or an ex lover, hold a business meeting, or just to come and have some exquisite Japanese food. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

We had a great dinner with a wide selection of Sashimi as starters and Wagyu/Seabass for the main. Vibrant place, good service and top quality food. The manager however failed completely to comply with this standard. We’ve asked the staff for help with ordering a taxi/transport as it was raining heavily. They just received the instruction by the manager not to bother as it would be company’s policy. Interesting concept to charge $ 200,- per person and to just don’t care anymore after you have paid. A pity when an initially great experience is ruined by an incompetent and ignorant manager.

This spot should.have been the perfect easy to find place to have a perfect dinner in between fine dining and casual. The menu consist of various asian-oriented dishes like dumplings, sushi, asian bbq meat, sashimi etc. There are quite a few problems though (note that this review is on the Bond St. at Hudson Yards and NOT the one in Noho): Friendly and smiling, but not very knowledgeable staff - and very slow. We had our waitress select dishes for us, and asked her what wine could go well. We decided on a New York based Riesling - which was actually pretty good - but it came way too late. The reasoning was that some were still drinking their beers so she didn'r wanna disturb that. And the wine glasses that were put on the table where totally useless and we had to ask for proper wine glasses which came after a good while, but by then our white wine servings was already eaten and the meat came on the table. Then we ordered a bottle of red wine that should go with the meat dishes. That also took some time and while the wine itself was OK, it was too warm. The meat dish was too small for our party of 6 so there was only a tiny strip of a couple of centimeters of meat per person. Another thing was the short rib gyoza only came in 5 pieces. Very difficult to divide by 6 guests. When we asked for one bite extra, that was impossible to acommodate even after debate. Then we would have had to order 5 new ones. This is just nonsense. The final sushi servings were good though and was served one bite for each guest. At this price level, this is not an acceptable deliverance.

My husband and I were visiting New York for the first time, and based on a few reviews almost didn’t book here, but we are SO glad we chose to try it out for ourselves regardless. BondSt was literally incredible from start to finish. We were celebrating my 30th birthday and they made us feel so special. Great service from Billy at the lounge bar and the food was just insane! We ordered the big eye tuna tart, spicy crispy tuna, short rib gyoza, sesame shrimp roll, chicken katsu bao bun, seared scallop and on the recommendation of Billy the salmon sushi too ( which was possibly the freshest salmon I’ve ever tasted! ). The tuna tart and short rib gyoza were absolute highlights though!! We were then given a complimentary desert for my birthday too which was a lovely touch! Overall one of the best meals we have experienced. Thanks so much!!

I had been many times and i always leave with a full belly and a happy heart. You must have a reservation and as soon as it is time they will sit your group. Servers are usually friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. They will be happy to help you order and suggest a thing or two off the menu. The food is just delicious. Whatever you order will be good. The crowd is young and beautiful and there's a good atmosphere all around. But Bond St is another place that has had to deal with inflation and their prices are starting to hurt. Their wine list is a bit overpriced, particularly the sake. I have no doubt you will enjoy your meal, just be prepared when the bill arrives.

Went to bond st for dinner with a friend. The food, service and ambiance was amazing. The tuna tarts, tuna tartare, steak, tuna over crispy rice were all phenomenal. Cant wait to go back.

Delicious and tasty food with a wide variety of Oriental dishes to choose from. The Grilled Octopus and Sesame Shrimp sushi were exceptional. Desserts are well worth the indulgences and home made Ginger-ale was refreshing and delicious.

It is one of my favorite places . A combination of great food, great interior design, and incredibly professional staff. I eat their food often. Whether I get a delivery, pick up, or in the fortunate event I get, I reservation an outstanding experience at the omakase counter.

Amazing cocktails, vibes, high quality sushi and Japanese dishes. Highly recommend the truffle tuna, seaweed salad, amazing rolls. Mostly younger crowd. All dressed up to have fun. Tom at the bar does amazing cocktails, spicy mezcal margarita is a must. A bit in the pricey side but you get amazing service (take time to explain the dishes) and experience overall.

This was an amazing dining experience, the first night Covid restrictions ended in Manhattan. If this is any indication NYC is back! Filled with big spending beautiful people in close quarters but that was part of the fun. Despite celebrities and masters of the universe dining here, the real star is the food which is superb. Everything we ordered was first rate and the service was stellar. One of the best meals I have had in recent memory and it felt good to be back to normal. Highly recommended and worth the price which is definitely expensive.

I am profoundly disappointed by my recent experience at BOND ST NYC on December 15, 2023. A celebration turned sour when an adjacent table accused my group, which included a Black, Latino and a Russian, of having paraphernalia. We had ordered our cocktails and food and once the food came to our table. Shockingly, without investigation, the staff asked us to pay and leave. We normally visit the establishment for our personal and work related celebrations. The assistant evening manager did dismiss us and did not provide the general managers contact information after we were being embarrassed and dismissed from the vicinity. This unfounded accusation, coupled with the lack of proper inquiry, reflects poorly on the establishment. It's disheartening that the evening manager, a person of color, allowed such discrimination. My family and friends are deeply hurt, and we demand a response from management. This incident has prompted us to reconsider our patronage. #Discrimination #UnpleasantExperience #BONDSTNYC

Checked in downstairs. Told to go upstairs. Checked in upstairs told to go back downstairs to check in. Sat in back room at a table with a room full of kids. No vibe. Could have been anywhere. Rushed. Rude. Just bad service all around. We couldn’t enjoy our time or food at that point. But still managed a $500plus bill. Won’t ever go back. Don’t recommend.

Loved the vibe and the food. We loved discovering a little known sake from Brooklyn. It was terrific! The rooms and the miso were outstanding, although the portion sizes for the rolls are a bit small. But we had a lovely evening and would come back again.
