Place has really nice ambiance, did not have to wait long for a table and server was very helpful. Food was good, not the best lamb I've ever had but pretty good. I think it was a bit overpriced, but would recommend to try at...More

Visited this restaurant Because of their 24 layer cake and decided to try the steak too. Lady on the phone who took our booking was really friendly. Got there, seated at our table, there were flies and table cloth had stains, glasses were wet, bread...More

This was my second time at the Strip House for a business dinner this year. The service was attentive and professional, the steaks were amazing and the drinks and wine a perfect compliment. Not inexpensive but it is a quality New York steakhouse.

Best steak house in the world! No need to discuss the quality of the steaks- they are unrivalled. Sides are so good, that I'd even give four stars if steaks were mediocre. Try the 24 layer chocolate cake and go detox for the next few...More

Strip house is my favorite steak house in NYC. Classic old style New York ambience coupled with great food and wine list. Make sure to have the side dishes and the multiple layer chocolate cake for dessert. I think it's 10 layers or more and...More

Interesting decor and choice of name! This is a very nice place to have a steak dinner or even a surf & turf. We enjoyed the service and most importantly, the quality and taste of our meat. Superiorly better than other places advertised as "best...More

Loss of a great restaurant....the Strip house was classy, delicious, and brilliant. Then a new class of host/hostesses has ended that. We use to call for a reservation and ask for our favorite table. If it was available, they would seat us there. Not anymore....More

We started off the evening of our friends bachelor party at the wonderful location. They were able to accommodate our party of 13. All the food was amazing. We practically ordered everything from the appetizers side of the menu as well as everything from the...More

We stumbled across this restaurant by mere chance, fortunately it wasn't a very busy time and we were seated promptly. We had steak, some sides and a bottle of red wine. The steaks were delicious, my filet mignon was extraordinary. No complaints, prompt and polite...More

Very strong steak house. Bone in filet prepared to near perfection. Great wine list. To me a shade below Spark's and Benjamin's but still terrific

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

I would definitely give the New York Strip House a phone regarding dinner on Valentine's Day as that is a very busy date night. You would need to have a reservation in place . The phone nu,her is:212-328-0000.

It does seem more of a grown up type of restaurant. But I'm sure if you have an early dinner it would work! Call them or email and ask! See what type of reaction you get...if they are friendly on the phone, there's your... More

A sultry steakhouse in New York City’s Greenwich Village where old-world glamour meets modern style and sophistication. Experience the combination of charred cuts perfectly paired with decadent sides, such as Truffle Creamed Spinach and Goose Fat Potatoes. And be sure to save room for the famed 24-Layer Chocolate Cake. Named a top steakhouse by Zagat and awarded four stars by Forbes, the namesake cut of aged beef isn't the only work of art to marvel upon...just take a look at the walls and tell us you don’t agree. Black and white vintage photos of bordello girls from the original 1900’s Studio Manasse collection reference an era of decadence and seduction. Visit our second NYC location, the new Strip House Midtown at 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, or on the Las Vegas Strip at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
