My husband and I had reservations at Babbo on our last night of a NYC visit and what a way to end our trip. The staff was warm, professional and knowledgeable. Our waiter and the rest of the staff seemed to be there whenever we needed them without being intrusive. The food was superb. We enjoyed the atmosphere - everybody... More

Babbo was on the best meals of my life. We had the pasta tasting menu, 7 courses of pure heaven. Each course was delicious and presented splendid fashion. The staff was beyond attentive, and catered to our need. Babbo is expensive, but worth every penny!

Atmosphere was pleasant, wait staff was attentive and the food was so delicious. Also, loved the people we dined with. Hope to make it back some day.

Delicious meal, not large portions but the prices are okay. The setting is very romantic, and the atmosphere is hip.

Twice, while staying at the Washington Square Hotel across the street, I have attempted to stop into Babbo for a glass of wine. Twice, I was turned away by staff with attitude that screams "this place is not for you." Appears that one must have a reservation, just to sit down at the bar ! A highly unfriendly policy designed... More

We worked really hard to get a reservation here, and were very excited. Honestly all six of us were very disappointed. This restaurant is very quaint & has a nice ambiance. It seems its a restaurant for locals, more than tourists. We had a nice corner table, but not sure if our waiter remembered it was there. The service was... More

Good Italian restaurant in Greenwich village. Warm ambience with professional staff. Mostly filled with locals. The cuisine is really good with excellent quality ingredients. Nothing fancy or innovating but you can't go wrong with this one. The wine list is good and the lunch 4 course menu is a bargain for a New York Michelin star restaurant. I can easily... More

I was initially very excited about going. I heard so much about the place over the years and to be truly honest it was really not worth the price & or the hype. This place has been open for over 10 years and we never got to go. Went with my partner for his birthday on a busy Saturday night.... More

It's been a little while since I've been there, but I still regard my trip to Babbo as one of my standout culinary experiences. The iconic restaurant deserves its legendary status. Batali's modern Italian cuisine did not disappoint. Grilled guinea hen was tender and succulent; the seasoning and prep allowed it to taste uniquely its own, and not like generic... More
