The four of us loved the food and ambiance here. Non-pretentious, fresh ingredients, nice service located on a charming street corner. Get a booth by window if you can. My wife had the duck and I had the steak...both were great. The marrow appetizer was...More

I've been wanting to visit The Marrow for some time after really liking the other two places owned by Chef Harold Dieterle and Alicia Nosenzo. Since I'm a "VIP" Blackboardeats member, my code was still valid for The Marrow, so my hubby and I finally...More

Visited here with a friend in October 2014. Things did not look too promising when we arrived - restaurant was completely empty at 7.00 pm on a Wednesday evening. Small menu, but the food was great. We both had the marrow appetizer - and both...More

I've been going to Marrow since it opened and had great experiences. Last night, I was sorely disappointed and won't go back (I recommend that you don't either if this is how this restaurant group does business). I was at the Marrow most recently a...More

Food is excellent and a bit unusual with the German/Italian mix. Setting is lively, but still conducive to talking as the tables are not quite as close together as at some downtown spots. Service was a tad slow.

We spent a leisurely Sunday evening here with friends. We enjoyed it very much. The service was superb. We kicked off the meal with an homage to the restaurant and ordered the marrow bone appetizer to share. It was a flavorful kick start. The duck...More

We were seated soon after arrival although the restaurant was packed on a Friday night. The wines by the glass were very interesting and the lady who poured the wines was very charming. Our food was good but not outstanding. Frankly, I expected more. The...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
