Looking for a place for dinner late-ish on a Sunday night - it was around 10pm. I walked in and sat at the bar. The bar tender was pleasant but not overly friendly. I ordered the lasagne and a glass of wine. The evening seemed...More

The look is Italian from the outside, the food is missing the real Italian taste and flavors. The service was there but you had to call out to getting it. I would not choose the place for anything special, but as a hot meal on...More

Visiting New York I wanted to find a simple friendly Italian restaurant, which by walking the streets of Hells Kitchen - I did - Tavola. It was heaving, but friendly, the atmosphere was everything I wanted. Yes the food wasn't fancy or modern, but Spaghetti...More

At first view the restaurant seemed really authentic and old Italian. However, we were not ready for the highly opinionated and extremely rude server. He was overly eager to please, in that false way that that said, I'm looking for a 25% NY tip. Each...More

The four of us had different meals, and all were delicious. Service from Joe was excellent and it was good value. We'll hopefully be back before we return to the UK.

My mother and I were searching online for a place to have dinner near our hotel and found this little gem! The service was fabulous and the food delicious. It is easy to see why this place was packed and busy on a Tuesday!

The place looks old, comfortable and spacious. It may have been an Italian food store years ago. The food is old style US-Italian cuisine, good but nothing special. The service is ok but not very forth coming.
