My grandson and I stopped here after the show for dessert. He had a brownie with sprinkles; he enjoyed it to the last crumb. I had a raspberry jelly roll (it reminded me of the packaged Hostess ones I ate as a kid. I was disappointed. It was a bit hard, dry and overly sweet. Fortunately, I had a cup... More

Very reasonably priced, fantastic food. Also very good service and spotlessly clean. What more could you ask for?

Stumbled on the nice little cafe on the way from pier 83 to the Empire state building. The food was good and the staff was nice.

My friends and I stumbled across the Bread Factory when we were walking toward our hotel late at night. The baked goods looked delicious through the window, so we decided to go back in the morning. When we arrived the next day they weren't very busy. They had many tables open. We looked over the breakfast menu which was varied.... More

I was looking for a late night snack and decided to give this place a try. The service was good and friendly. I got a slice of pizza and a piece of pastry. The pizza was great. The pastry tasted old and moldy.

Terrible service, even for NY standards. All disposable plates and no coffee bar. Was given our coffee in to go cups after saying order was to eat in. The staff is barely understood when attempting to communicate with us with half heard groans. I'll be shocked if this place survives, too many better places just a block away.

We stumbled upon The Bread Factory while out exploring the city. Great food, good portion sizes and reasonably priced. The French Toast was incredible. We did not get a salad but saw them preparing someone else's and it was enough for a family! There isn't a lot of seating and I wish they had some paper menus with descriptions of... More

Little but very good cafe for breakfast. You can get all kinds of eegs, pancakes, waffles, sandwiches, and juices and coffee. We only had breakfast there but their wraps and sandwiches also looked very good.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
