Ten of us visited Arabesque for dinner and we were all very impressed. The atmosphere in the 'back room' , the appetizers, the wine selection, and the main courses all great. We had some vegetarians in the group and they were happy as well. The grilled lamb was my favorite and the baba ganoush was very good as well. Some... More

Visited Arabesque for a quick dinner before a show as it was close to our Hotel and glad we did!! Staff was extremely helpful, food did not disappoint as we found it to be fresh, authentic and very well prepared. We could not stay but later on Saturday nights they have Belly Dancing and Hookah. Hope to visit again soon.

When you are in NY and want to chill out with friends go to Arabesque . Great Moroccan food and the Hookah is great.

If you enjoy Middle Eastern and Moroccan food, as well as a cozy, authentic ambience, check out Arabesque. The food is exceptional, and is very authentic Moroccan. The interior is great, it feels like you're in an actual Moroccan place. There is a separate hookah lounge, too. Service is excellent. This is the kind off place I would frequent if... More

Ahh yes: good news and bad news one more time. The menu is short, some of it Moroccan. What we ate was really REALLY tasty. The service (see below) is mediocre: in the price range of this restaurant you expect knowledge of the cuisine, the ability to speak understandable english and attentiveness. And that ain't there. We got the wrong... More

Husband and I visited this weekend for my birthday dinner. We went early (by NYC standards), so it was not loud and busy. We had made an online reservation and were greeted by name when we walked into the restaurant. (Nice start to the evening!) Our waiter was friendly, attentive and not overbearing. We started with the Salmon Carpaccio (wonderful)... More

We found the restaurant on our first night in NYC. After a long day travelling from the UK this place was perfect We shared platter between 2 couples and the lamb, chicken& sausage with the sauces was beautiful. I had the mint tea to finish the meal & it was gorgeous The ambiance of the surrounding was good & the... More

Looks like a normal café from the outside but once inside it is a nice restaurant/café with a dancing area in the back. The Shisha is very good and when we found out that a belly dancer would perform we went to the back of the restaurant that had an Arab-styled room and a DJ played Arabic songs and people... More

I came after dancing with my girlfriend and I was so glad to come here. Atmosphere is relaxing in the back; I love the ceiling drapes. It is so beautiful and the food was amazing. Waiter was very nice and professional. I will definitely come back here. I had the chicken brochetteand mint tea was so tasty. My girlfriend got... More

Wow - that's the only way to describe the experience of Arabian nights in NY. The combination of excellent service, exotic cuisine, live music and DJ, and belly dancers was off the charts fun. The crowd included friends celebrating a birthday, couples and small groups. The picture does not begin to do justice to this place.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
