This restaurant was very close to our hotel so after a busy day we just strolled round to it. The manager greeted us and was very friendly and welcoming. The tables were well spaced and because it was the Thanksgiving weekend it wasn't full. There was a good choice of Italian pastas and also fish and meat. One of us... More

Went with a groupon for the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Great service, awesome ambience-its a beautiful place! The waiters were great and very knowledgeable about the wines. The food was great, and they were very accommodating to my food allergy. Overall A+!

This Tuscan Italian restaurant is steps from City Center. I was not able to get a reservation through Open Table, so prior to our matinee, I walked it and was able to make it for 5 pm. Our show let out early, and we tried to be seated, but they were not ready and we had to wait by the... More

We visited Circo last night, and were very disappointed in all ways. After visiting Circo's sister restaurant, Le Cirque, earlier,in the day for lunch, we decided on Osteria Del Circo for dinner with high expectations. To,start with, when we entered, we were greeted like we were at Denny's. We sat at the bar waiting for our table and the bartender... More

From the portions to the homemade pasta, my experience at Circo was tremendous. Even the Caesar Salad was different, yet amazing. I left the restaurant satisfied, but not overly stuffed. The top off was great company and awesome wine.

Having early theater dinner with friends in the city for the Christmas season led to disappointing dinner. The host and hostess were not particularly welcoming. The appetizer choices were average and a little bland. My Salomon was small and lacking in flavor. Our friends had similarly unexciting dishes. Not somewhere I would go back to for flavorful dinning.

Not too bad if you're looking for a place in midtown. We tried the pizzas (2 different kind; Salsaccia and Pazza) and they were both very decent. Service was more than adequate and professional.

Now that Abboccato is closed, this is a good bet if you are going to City Center since it is right across the street. I have been here several times before, and enjoyed it, but on a recent pre-theatre visit it seemed to have slipped a bit. I found the food only OK and the service not up to earlier... More

Food snob here. I think this is an Italian restaurant that is attempting to bill itself as authentic Italian, which it may be but the food is nothing spectacular and for the pricing you could do much better elsewhere. Their ravioli is homemade, but the filling is bland and had way too much spinach ration to cheese. Portion was good... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
