Had heard of this place but never visited. The fact that I had seen lines outside during winter should have told me something. Absolutely outstanding. Chocolate croissant was very good, but the blueberry cheesecake cupcake took the cake ( bad pun I know) and was truly memorable. The pastries were expensive but well worth it.

Sweet corner bakery in a quaint area of lower east side—full of charm and too many yummy choices. I could have easily tried several of their 3+ layer cakes that sat on the pasty case! The cookies that I purchased were excellent, and service was very kind. (Also, very reasonably priced.) Highly recommend.

I'm a picky dessert eater, and I usually dislike cupcakes. These, however, are awesome. The ingredients taste fresh. I had a vanilla bean cupcake - delicious. Hubby had strawberry - wow, like having a fresh berry!

It's hard for me to pass up a cupcake place. I went into this spot and should have known better. They didn't really look great. They looked dry, even the icing on top. And looking at the other desserts, the cheesecake for example, everything looked dry. But I went ahead and ordered a gingerbread cupcake. I only ate one bite.... More

We stopped in on the way to Prince Street Pizza. We had a couple of cupcakes that were pretty good. Not the absolute best we have ever had but very good and worth the price. The shop is nice and the service was good. If you are in the area stop in. If not in the area, I am sure... More

Great little bakery in Nolita. So glad we found it again after having searched for it forever. The blueberry and the original cheesecakes were fantastic. Too bad that almost everybody behind the counter seemed uninterested in customers.

I popped in hereafter a brunch, there are a handful of tables and chairs that seat 4 very closely. They had about 30 bakery items. There are 5ish vegan and 3ish gluten free and only 2 vegan and gluten free options. I asked the very friendly people behind the counter for the gluten free and dairy free items. They pointed... Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
