We used to go to the old Long Grain all the time. Since it's moved and changed hands, we've been twice and both times the service was chaotic and slow and the food not so good.

It closed awhile ago- merged with Asiakan on Amsterdam. It's not good. Confused identity. Sushi and chicken wings and some Thai. Constant B rating from the city. I stick to A- particularly when eating raw fish

Good and cheapThai food combined with japanese food. We enjoyed it all. The staff was a bit flaky. We had a few misunderstandings about our orders but everything turned out OK.

The lunch special is only $7.99 and comes with a salad. My husband had the pad Thai, and I had the greed curry. The service was fine. Nothing fancy. I can't believe this place was listed as $$$$. It is really cheap for NYC

I stayed nearby, and got take out for lunch. Pad thai and a spring roll. Spring roll was huge - delicious mix of greens, fresh mint, rice noodles, egg, Asian pickle and other filling items. Pad Thai was tasty, and the order was quite large. I walked in, placed my order for take out, and it was ready in about... More

Great to enjoy an Asian dinner with family next door to the hotel we were staying at. Well priced, good food and a pleasant alternative to the diners.

We were staying nearby, and thought we would try this establishment out, as we love Thai food. The food was very good, with a fair selection to choose from. However the evening was spoiled by the attitude of one of the waiters. The service in general was okay throughout, although the English was a little hard to understand at times.... More

It is within a few steps of the Hotel Newton and just around the block from the Day Hotel. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Service was friendly. Highly recommended.

Won't break the bank, good quality food. I had the shrimp and chicken spring rolls and the pad thai. Both really good. I went in at about 10pm (they close at 11pm). The staff wasn't very attentive, but I kinda like not being bothered every 2 minutes. They seemed to be in let's get this place closed up mode. I'd... More
