First the woman answering the phone was extremely rude and short tempered with me the customer. Once I placed my order and was in route i had a hard time finding the place, the lady who originally was short tempered with me was rude and...More

As a Shanghaiese, I was sooooo excited to eat the authentic hometown food during my trip in the NY. Especially, the Shanghai style xiaolongbao and Yan du xian-stewed soup with bamboo root and bacon.

All of the food is incredible here, but the star of the show is the xiao long bao (soup dumplings). The broth is perfectly salty, the filling flavorful, and the noodle paper-thin yet strong. I would also recommend the Shanghai Lo Mein.

My son and I were looking for soup dumplings in Chinatown so decided to try out Shanghai Asian Manor. We ordered black truffle and pork soup dumplings and they were both DELISH! Highly recommend if you are nearby.

In a restaurant you usually expect a minimum. This one you can forget. I do not speak of the service, of the delivery but just the food. Food can be discussed, argue but it is always a question of scale based on your experience and...More

Stopped in for a late lunch and ordered a few appetizers: Steamed pork dumplings, vegetable dumplings, spring rolls, and wonton soup. Everything was delicious! You can definitely tell the dumplings are homemade. We wished we could have went for dinner and tried a bunch of...More

Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and
smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like
entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle
that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families
stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up
at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from
the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many
bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where
