We came across this place after reading that they did the best pancakes . The review was not wrong . This place is a small , family run dinner and must do place to go to. We had lumber jacks which consisted of three fluffy pancakes , two eggs done anyway and sausages or bacon it was served with a... More

This is classic diner food at its best. My salami, egg and cheese sandwich was the perfect hangover cure. Now just to set expectations: the place is tiny and popular, so you might end up waiting for a bit if you show up at a peak time. But don't worry, it's worth it! The food is on point, the menu... The kitchens at the Sheraton just up the street was shut for renovation so they recommended eating here. It really is a hole in the wall with seating for ten at the bar, and a table for 2 and a table for 4 at the back. Unlike many NY eateries the staff here welcome you, smile, and joke (very unlike... Back again to one of New York City's last luncheonette's. Service was great. Food affordable. Didn't have to wait long because I went in around 1:30 pm to avoid the rush. I had the Pastrami Rueben sandwich and finished it off with banana pancakes for dessert. They can get busy at times so be prepared to wait a little. Well... More

I normally focus on the food rather than the service, as that matters more when it comes to, well, eating. However, the rude, anxious service here really ruined the whole experience for me. It basically felt as if we were expected to leave before we had even ordered, seeing as the place is really small and people are waiting to... More

This is a classic greasy spoon dive diner (in a good way) It only seats about 12 people in a very small and narrow space. The food is only average but the experience is wonderful. Hint: sit as far away from the door (and cash register) as possible. Not s good place for kids.

We just stopped here for some quick cheap lunch and it was delicious! The place is super small with more seats at the counter than I think they had tables. We went at an off hour so we didn't wait at all, the counter was full there was an open table. Check the hours ahead of time they close early... More

Average breakfast. Waited in line for this very small diner for about a 1/2 hour. It only seats about 15 people. The food just wasn't anything special.
