On the upside the restaurant had nice decor, and you won't get dehydrated, with continual refills of water provided, but the food was average (pizza was served on a slippery plate directly on a polished table, which made cutting it a challenge) and expensive ($26 for a small plate of pasta). Staff were efficient but not friendly.

my husband loved their steak, as well as the potatoes that came with it. the caesar salad was great. But, the brussel sprouts we ordered was a little sweet for me.

Nice decor and setting. Food however was not into our liking at all. Service not much better. Swordfish and scampi tasted bitter as if they had been burned. After serving, the waiter never came to ask how food was. Only when we had finished eating - and we did not finish the portions. This was the worst restaurant experience during... More

Cana Nonna had delicious Italian food right in the heart of midtown. The food was fresh and the service was great. Love the open design of the restaurant.

Having eaten here several times with different groups of friends and colleagues, every meal has been excellent. The manager, Hugo, and the staff ensure that service is impeccable, and every bite is delicious. The portions are just the right size. I like the tables made of wine crates.

The food is excellent and the portions are perfect. The atmosphere is fun and inviting for tourists or for locals. The bar is a great place to hold a private function as well!

The place is big and nice. It's obviously hard to ask for Gluten free options at an Italian restaurant but you would expect that service in New York. The waiter confirmed they had gluten free options and made sure to advise the chef. I had the scallops plate with brussel sprouts side and I mentioned I could not eat gluten... More

Picked this spot based on reviews for restaurants within walking distance to a small theater event nearby. Opted away from our table and sat at the bar. The house cocktails are superb! The bartender was very attentive, and took time to explain things when we asked. We ordered the calamari up front while we contemplated entree orders. The calamari was... More

Great location to walk from Penn station and dine on your way up 8th Ave to the theater district. Food and service were very good. Very spacious as advertised although we were put in the same corner as everyone else while the rest of the tables were unoccupied. Will definitely go back.

The restaurant was beautiful! It was also very spacious, which is difficult to find in the city. They could accommodate large groups easily. The food was fantastic as well. We were in a hurry and let them know that up front, and they were very accommodating to that.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
