For an early dinner before a show our family visited this tiny, beautiful space in the heart of Greenwich Village just off Washington Square. We enjoyed the lamb Vindaloo, very spicy, and velvety saag panir. All our food was shared and we enjoyed a wide...variety of dishes. They also deliver to your hotel room. Try it.More

We stumbled upon this place on our way to the Halloween parade. It is a cozy, long skinny space with nice decor. The lighting is dim (in a good way!) and the music is soothing. It feels like a little oasis. The prices are extremely...reasonable. We ate vegetarian food. I had biryati and my friend had spinach with chickpeas. Both were very tasty. The dips they bring with the thin flat crunchy bread at the beginning of the meal are delicious! The wine/beer list is very limited, only house wines available by the glass, and while not fantastic, was perfectly acceptable. The service was great. Someone walked by the table at least every 5 minutes and peeked to see if we needed anything but didn't hover or interrupt excessively.More

I love Curry Kitchen - we come here often and I generally order on Seamless at least twice a month. The food is good and flavorful and they have many options. Sometimes the food takes much longer than you would expect it to but it...is good quality food and a good price!More

I had lunch here last week - taking advantage of the 50% off lunch special. Both the $12 vegetarian entree and the $5 rice were discounted. The portions were small - I left, not quite hungry but not full at all. I ordered the eggplant dish...(bharta) and it was good, but not spicy. I like more flavor and spice, but this was fine. The atmosphere was nice - it was small but quiet and clean.More

A small place that we almost walked past and missed; thankful we found it! Samosas were delicious! I like the soft naan but didn't mind their crispy version as the 2 sauces that came with them were good. We shared a veggie curry, the chef's...special and a masala and the whole table was enthusiastic about all 3. Service is relaxed so don't be in a hurry here. Also, do yourself a favor and get some Indian chai tea!More

I came here and ordered the seafood curry. My husband got the chefs special curry. I had some questions about their curries containing gluten. The waitress really didn't understand what gluten was. I tried to narrow it down and just have her check with the...chef on what had wheat flour. She said the curries were fine just not anything that was cooked in the tandoori oven or any of the naan. Then in the same sentence she offered me naan. I was nervous about ordering, but I did & luckily, no reactions. The seafood curry would get 5 stars from me, but it was clearly frozen seafood (clams, shrimp, & muscles) that were too chewey and too tough. The consistency varied. The taste of the seafood was great which led me to believe it was frozen fresh at least. The food took them a while to make and I asked if basamati rice was unlimited and included with the order of curry and I was told "yes". They brought us one small pot of rice (for both of us to share) then, when I asked for more, I saw they did in fact charge us 4.95$ for it. I was very impressed with the texture & flavor of the curry. Overall, it seemed like a mix of traditional seasonings with some modern adaptations. Service was pretty slow. It took forever to get our bill or plates removed. The restaurant was small and decided beautifully. The prices were some of the best I've seen in the area (9.95$ curry 7$ house wine/craft beer). Despite some glaring issues I would return to try the chicken curry next time.More

This restaurant has become a 'regular' for me when visiting New York. Excellent ingredients, well prepared, I cannot but recommend this if you like Indian food. Excellent value for money. Their location is not optimal for high traffic volume, so you can always get a...seat. Go there!More

Ordered Curry Kitchen via Seamless and elected to go with their all inclusive lunch specials which had an appetizer, entree, rice and naan, as well as their house chutney, all for $15 a person. The food was delivered on time and was perfectly packaged. To...my pleasant surprise each of us got full appetizer portions of vegetable samosa (which were good but could have used a little kick), a full entree (aloo gobi and chicken tiki masala -- which were excellent) and nice individual portions of basmati rice and naan. Not much else to say except it hit the spot, was very good, traditional Indian food, and the portions and packaging exceeded expectations. A job well done!More
