Long weekend in NYC, stopped at a few very good cafes, Buvette was the best. Quiet location, great atmosphere, food was outstanding. Highly recommended.

Beautiful food, fantastic atmosphere and lovely service from a well planned cafe in a very nice area. Breakfast is tasty and service efficient here. As an added bonus, it's on the same street as the famous 'Friends' apartment.

If your visiting NY and want a quaint, non-touristy place for breakfast you have to try Buvettes!! Get the waffle sandwich you won't be disappointed! A little bit of everything on it! All their juices are fresh so make sure to order that as well!

Always a favorite and my go-to spot for a delicious, early breakfast with locals or guests visiting NYC. Buvette is a little slice of Paris in a very quaint area of the West Village. When I need a my french fix, this does it every...More

Yes, the ambience is great and so is the food...small menu of small but quality plates. Very crowded and uncomfortable for oldies like us. Our waitress was charming though and changed me from a stool to a back corner so I could lean on the...More

Late afternoon lunch, Quick service, and pleasant as well. Didn't feel rushed. Amazing food, portion sizes were right as well. Fairly priced. Great environment. Would easily come back

Had breakfast there. The grown ups and teens really enjoyed it, a bit harder for the younger ones. Nice toasts and delicious pastry Celebration!

I went here for breakfast (twice) and both times ordered their waffle sandwich... TO DIE FOR. Basically, delicious waffles, maple syrup, bacon, and lots of butter. The espressos were also very good. Unfortunately it is very tiny inside and both times we were seated in...More

When we think of Greenwich Village we think of Buvette. What a find this was, a big line of brunchers out the front flagged this was a place worth waiting for. We explored the Village but happened upon it again much later (around 3pm) and...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
