We popped in here one very rainy afternoon last month and I loved it. It's so lovely and cosy inside and the staff were very nice. We had an enormous pot of tea (we're British so can only go an hour tops without a tea) and we had a cake each which were beautiful. It's a very quiet and peaceful... More

I highly recommend this place. Best varieties of tea - all hand made and special. Each pastry was delicious and the macaroons perfection! The full tea service is fun!

In a group of three, I split a Chef's Tea for Two and my friend's Norwegian eggs. The Tea for Two includes 1 glass of champagne per person, 1 small pot of tea per person (about 3-4 cups of tea total per person), 4 small scones w/ jam and clotted cream, a million savory canapes, 2 pastries, 2 tea cakes,... We popped into Bosie's tea parlor for a cup of tea and a macaron after we finished our Original Greenwich Village food tour. We liked the layout of this place with lots of caddy's of tea on shelves behind the counter and there was a big choice of teas to choose from. The ladies that served us were friendly and... More

Researched this place prior to our New York trip as we wanted to have an afternoon tea experience while we were there and it certainly didn't disappoint. We stopped in late afternoon after touring TriBeCa, Soho and Greenwich. It was a Monday and it was very quiet, which was nice. The girl behind the counter (perhaps the owner not sure)... More

Vast collection of teas. Nice relaxed atmosphere. A pleasant place to spend an hour (or get take out). They really know their tea!

Last Monday 4/18/16 my sister and I went to Bosie to have high tea. We choose this based on many positive reviews on TripAdvisor. We were totally disappointed on every aspect except waitstaff-they were not responsible for the flaws. The room itself was dingy, the presentation poor. The tea itself was poor quality, the food was almost stale and meager... More

I got the full tea service. It included a choice of three sandwiches, two scones with clotted cream and jam, a lemon teacake, a green tea teacake, two different cookies, and two macarons (I chose the vanilla cheesecake and the rose macarons -- you get to choose!). And tea, of course. There's a full tea menu. I don't remember which... More

Atmospheric without being intimidating, top notch baking and teas, and a range of options from just a croissant and a pot of tea to a full tea service, all at very reasonable prices. You just can't beat Bosie for afternoon tea in New York, and believe me, I've tried. Harney's has a better selection of teas to go, Laduree is... More

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
