Nice neighborhood and nice terrace. Not too friendly staff and very average food. Quite expensive as everything in NYC.

Gina la Fornarina, the restaurant on the corner of 73rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue is closed, but the owner tells us they’re planning to open again in a new location at 69th and Broadway. He did not explain why they were closing. He said the...More
Unpretentious, delicious, well priced, cozy but not too cozy. This is a great local haunt. It doesn't feel like a super New York type of a restaurant but that's not a problem. And there's a nice outdoor seating area as well which provides pretty good...More

Every time I go to the Beacon Theater on Broadway and stop at this place, Great "light" Italian food that is always good, has great service, and has reasonable prices for NYC. Have always has a good meal.
Ate here twice during our week in New York. The food was excellent. Lots of flavour in every dish and really friendly staff.
The outside seating was very pleasant. However, for the price of the menu, we expected very good pastas. My salad was bland with not much dressing. My pasta was essentially a lot of pasta, very little vegetables and very little sauce.
